Lovely garden centre!! Dog friendly and have dog friendly area in the cafe too. Friendly staff too. After being sent away from Swarkstone garden centre for having a dog, this was a lovely next place to visit. Will be visiting again!
The gluten free fish and chips are exceptional!!! So many places still don't cater for gluten allergies but this is so worth it. I love that it has a mini Sainsbury's inside, you can have lunch, buy some plants and pick up your essentials in one place. The reason I've not given it full stars is you
Went mainly for the cafe, food was really nice and hot when it came out. Was a little bit of a wait for the food. The actual cafe gets ever so hot as they have no air con or fans going so he prepared to sweat a lot while in there

Wandering around the plants outside today, I got stung on my face by a wasp. A member of staff was really great, couldn't find anything to help in the First Aid box ( I didn't ask for First Aid btw) so got some ice wrapped in a tea towel for me to put on it. Really enjoyed my visit today. This is a dog and child friendly garden center with a small soft play area in the restaurant.
We had soup and a cheese scone at the cafe, both were delicious. There is complimentary water in jugs that you can help yourself too and a light airy space to eat.
The plant
Ok for plants but the Waitrose supermarket there is a ripoff....not everything has a price on it. So you can be in for a nasty surprise at the till. Cadbury mini rolls pack of ten ....nearly £5....ridiculous
