Really love the atmosphere and nostalgia of Route 66. Unfortunately that’s where the good things end. All of the ice cream machines were out of service so we weren’t able to try out the frozen desserts. I ordered a cheesecake and it had some type of syrup on top that was extremely watery. The cake itself tasted old. The waiter was friendly but if you’re going for food I wouldn’t recommend it based on our experience

Great Old School, 50s decor Diner. Great variety of Diner style meals and dishes with a Fantastic dessert menu. Giant variety of milk shake flavors.
Staff is friendly and welcoming.

50s style diners are one of my favorite things in the world. Galaxy Diner is officially in my top three. How can you beat a diner located on Route 66, has a working neon sign, slings coffee in big mugs, AND makes amazing shakes?
Enjoyed two different meals there - dinner and brunch. The service was great; Kennedy and Joriah are fantastic servers. On Saturday night they had live music and a movie. The food was spot on. The decor was perfect.

If you’re wanting a classic Route 66 diner, this place is a perfect fit. My husband and I had dinner on a Saturday evening here, and we were seated immediately, our server was friendly and professional, and there was live music. We both ordered milk shakes and burgers, and it was the diner experience we were craving. Best way to kick off our Flagstaff visit.

Stopped in today for a break during a motorcycle ride. Not sure what to have I noticed breakfast served all day. The boss breakfast looked interesting so I ordered it. You can see in the picture, lots to eat. They didn't skimp on the meats as some places do. The potatoes were different yet very tasty. I chose wheat toast and it too was great. Not the usual skinny slice of bread. It was a thick sliced bread. I really enjoyed my meal with excellent service from my server. Sorry can't remember her name, long ride. I will be back when I'm in the area. I highly recommend this place.

Really cool place to eat. Service was friendly but kind of slow. Ordered a water that never showed up, finished my meal waiting on a refill of soda. Food was good. Shakes were great!

So glad we stopped in! Such a cool diner with many options, but we made it a milkshake and fries stop. There were 100 different milkshakes to choose from- the 4 of which we chose were all fantastic! Our waiter was great and the atmosphere of the diner was top notch. We highly recommend Galaxy to anyone traveling along the original Route 66!

The soup was home made. Grilled cheese was oozing with great cheese. Burgers and onion rings were excellent. If you don't have a bottomless stomach, order the Junior malt. Still huge and so....yummy! The entertainer was really fun to listen to. What a great place!
