Family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed this meal. Little Kenny had the sausage selection from the kids menu and said "that was well good". He had just enough room for ice cream which he said "very special". His big brother and the grown ups really enjoyed the food too. Generous portions of delicious food served piping hot. Clean plates all round. Best meal out we've had in a long time!
We've had two delicious meals here now, and both have been served promptly by friendly, helpful staff. The food is fresh, hot and full of good quality ingredients. It is family friendly and dogs are welcome too.
Food is fantastic, tasty and generous in portions, the staff were lovely and accommodating, couldn't ask for any more. The whole family went on Sunday we had Sunday dinner and teenagers had pie, puddings are also very nice, would recommend

Veggies on the small side but not people mind I suppose?
Yorkshire puddings were slightly dark and gave them a bitter taste but overall, good service and waiting times.
We visited as a family of 4 with 2 young children. We were allowed to keep their scooters inside safely, out of the way.
Landlady and bar staff very welcoming and accommodating (unlike another pub we visited nearby… you know who you are! Who didn’t seem too fond of children or even strangers for that matter). Anyway, the Rose and Crown were fantastic. Food was lovely too. Will definitely visit again if I’m the area. Thank you guys x

The barmaid was great. She loved our dog. He got 2 treats. Nice and refreshing interior after takeover. Friendly staff.

Lovely little pub with great staff and a very hospitable welcome and has the best pint of Guinness I have had in Flamborough and the East Coast hands down. Can't wait to go back.
Didn't eat, but the food I saw looked amazing. Me and the misses called for a few drinks with our dog after a long walk and were welcomed .Nice place, and again, the food looked lovely, will eat next time if hungry 😋
As someone else said, "a little gem" wonderful little friendly place, with fabulous home cooked food, great service and amazing value for money!! The little beer garden is secluded, and a proper sun trap. We loved the serving hatch.
