There was a queue, which is a good sign! A real traditional fish and chip shop.
The food was tremendous.
I had a large cod and chips, the batter was the best I’ve had in a very long time, the fish was delicious and the chips done to perfection.

What a gem of a place and so friendly. We were told where the fish and crab were caught and when the oh so tasty crab cakes were made (that morning). The fish was beautiful and cooked to order and we ate in the outside seating area, at the back with some tables under cover. Excellent. We will return

We ate here last week, we had fish and chips and sat outside in the garden/rear seating area. The fish was delicious, very thick and meaty and cooked in oil which I personally prefer compared to dripping. The menu I saw online before we visited clearly stated the fish was cooked in oil, not dripping
