I popped in here on the way back from a day out when I didn't want to cook. The food was great but I did not get what I ordered and had to remind the server that I had ordered curry sauce and mushy peas. I would go back though.
Love the thick cut chips and battered sausage from Churchills Fleet. They do gluten free on Monday and Tuesday every week. Really nice food and very good portions and prices. Also have gluten-free kids meals too. Parking is outside or a pay and display car park just up the road from the shop.

Had to see what all the fuss was about after seeing Churchill’s delivery car 🚙 in estate so much, and my curiosity was worthwhile! Brilliant quality and fair portion size, even though price is quite high. You get what you pay for and it was excellent 🐟 🍟 😋

Nice proper fish and chips. Well cooked and decent thick cut chips, and the half roast chicken is good value. £2.65 for mushy peas is a rip off though - far more than any other chip shop charges.

Great chippy. Chips were nice and hot. Very tasty. Steak and kidney pie was very nice. Cooked in the oven so the pastry was flaky and not all stodgy as is the case when heated up in a microwave.

A decent chippy. Has a couple of tables to sit at if you want to eat there.
Excellent food. Only thing I'd say is don't use Just Eat, as they then do the delivery in house and it's AWFULLY slow, over 1hr45 for dinner. Apparently, if you use UberEats or Deliveroo, it's the contract drivers and much quicker. The quality and temperature of the food was the saviour for the 4 st
Such a great place! The staff all in a very smart uniform working behind glass, so every part of the process was on display. It's always a good sign when a food spot has the balls to do that, they know they are clean, up to par, and the public can watch it all. The food itself was delish, oily chips
Outstanding fish and chips, well prepared and well packaged. The range of non fish options is also huge including favourites such as pukka pies and some excellent burgers. Churchill's have also started catering to the vegetarian/vegan customer and I look forward to seeing their range of these prod

Excellent fish and chips. Had to wait a while but prefer fresh cooked anyway. Only downside was I thought a tad expensive.
This by far the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. My son and I are gluten free and he's never had fish and chips takeaway and I haven't for years, so glad we found churchills. Highly recommended and prompt delivery in our time slot!
