This review is mainly on the Soup Dumplings We frequent Kung Fu for years and always love their Soup Dumplings. In fact, this is our go to joint for the dumplings. On our recent visit we found the soup dumplings were different. Not sure if it was a one off night or they have a different chef making them. The dumplings do not taste the same, definitely not as good and the dough/skin is not as thin anymore.

Got a couple of different dumplings. The standout was the truffle soup dumpling and the crab soup dumplings. The chicken and shrimp dumplings were ok but they have them swimming in the sauce that you select. Maybe next time I’ll ask if i can get no sauce with them.

I got a takeout order of the crab meat soup dumplings and the vegetable dumplings. I cannot comment on the atmosphere of the place or the staff since I got takeout. The xiao long bao were good, the prices are pretty standard for a good restaurant. I wish there had maybe been a bit more soup in them, but they were good. The vegetable dumplings were actually my favorite, I liked that they had a slightly thicker chewy skin. The filling of them was also really well seasoned and enjoyable, not too mushy but also not overly dry or crunchy.

Kung Fu XLB - quintessential soup dumplings. Good amount of soup inside, with a juicy pork filling and wrapper is not too thick. The premixed vinegar soy sauce mixed was really good and added depth to the dumpling. There was ginger inside that was sweet and added to the balance. Chocolate XLB - slightly smaller dumplings filled with molten chocolate and a piece of banana which is a perfect compliment for each other and the wrapper as the vehicle. The chocolate gushes into your mouth as you bite into it. Check out @bredgyeats for food pictures!

Love this place! Have been coming here for years and it’s always solid. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, and consistently great Chinese food. Cash only but there’s an ATM across the street if needed. Great for take out too! Favorites are the Shanghai pan fried noodle, wontons in spicy sauce, scallion pancake, soup dumplings (Kung fu Xiao Long Bao), sautéed bok choy, and pan fried pork buns

I would have given them 10 stars if Google reviews had the option because it was sooo good. I went to NY from Germany and made an effort to travel to Flushing from Manhatten just to eat their dumplings and I am glad that I did. They were the best and Their staff is so nice, soft spoken and very helpful in describing the taste and content of food before I ordered. Highly recommend going here♥️♥️

Absolutely love this place. Anytime we are in queens we stop here for soup dumplings, Dan Dan noodles and some pork fried buns! Staff is friendly and food comes out quick. Soup dumplings are flavorful and the dough is super delicate it practically melts in your mouth.

Had a wonderful dinner with our 4 person family. Minus a mistake with the milk tea and there being not being alcohol; this was the best soup dumplings I’ve had in flushing. Yes, better than Nan Xiang. Food was well prepared and seasoned. Extremely nice portions, flavor, texture, service, price! Will return!

Another Chinese restaurant gem! The Xiao Long Bao are deliciously satisfying! Shredded Beef with Chili Pepper has that right amount of spiciness that's not overwhelming. Ma Po Tofu was on point with White rice.
