We were at Tian Jin for ordering some dumplings. There were a great choice of food: dumplings, baos and pancakes. The service was very friendly and the dumplings were prepared on demand in front of us. We ordered lamb and vegetable mix dumplings. Both were big and tasty. The price was cheap (8$ for 10). We were very satisfied!

Best dumplings around - most are made to order. The fried pork buns are on another level though - check this place out!

Wow! One of the best dumplings I've ever had! Even their soy sauce was delicious! You get 10 dumplings for just $8 dollars, freshly made, fresh and well made! It took about 15 minutes to get them but it was worth the wait. They also have pancakes and pork buns. The staff was evidently taking precaution with safety and sanitized handling of everything to make sure the food was properly handled. The buns are no more than $2 or $1.50. I'd come here again, ANY DAY!

Delicious pan-fried lamb and green squash dumplings! A cool spot hidden in the basement. A little crowded, but there is a counter where you can sit at a stool to eat. You can also buy frozen dumplings in bags of 25 and 50.

This place is amazing. Best dumpling in my life. It's located down some steps and then down a hall with shuttered storefronts. It's not clear from the address but just look for glass doors opening on to downward stairs. There are like 5 little spots tucked way down here including a hotpot place and a noodle place. Back to the Dumplings though. These things are amazing. They have 5 proteins including egg lamb and beef to choose from. Then various vegetables like bok choy bamboo and pumpkin. Then they steam (and fry if you want) the Dumplings fresh for you. They also have some premade combos they cook fresh. I recommend the pork and pickles veggies. Place was amazing.

Amazing hole in the wall! I think it may be the best Chinese food in Queens! Homestyle food without fancy surroundings (you most likely want it to go). The sausage is amazing (five spice and orange flavors) as is the homestyle kung poa (called chicken in peanut sauce) and the dumplings are worth every calorie and more! The tofu with pork is also amazing! Soft fresh tofu with crispy rendered pork! Looking forward to working my way through the whole menu!

I would give this place three for a lot of reasons but i am giving it 4 purely on value for money. You get to have three big pork buns for 2$!! You can’t beat that! I would recommend the pork dumplings with chives, egg . The other ones are good but this packs more flavor. The set up not great. It’s in the basement where it can get hot. The place itself is not very clean. Their grade mind you is pending. Which I believe will never happen only because how many violations they and other eating places their have. But that doesn’t stop me or other patrons coming here because it is worth it! . If you can ignore everything and just want some good dumplings , this is your place. Mind you it’s not easy to find. Would i go there again! Definitely! But i also pray that I don’t get diarrhea after eating their. So far so good! P.s- go easy on the chili sauce. It’s not spicy or anything but might give you acid reflux after. Since it’s oily and heavy.

Amazing dumplings. It's a small stall dumpling place in a basement but don't mistake the appearance. The dumplings are the best and the constantly full seats will show you. If you want authentic Southern Chinese dumplings, this is the place to come! The only gripe would be that it gets pretty hot and humid with all the vendors around.

Strictly focusing on the food, not the environment and ambiance. Inexpensive and great tasting dumplings. The dumplings are quite small, but are filled up and served by 12 pieces. Their Pan Fried Lamb Dumplings were delicious and not oily at all. The Pork Dumplings with Chives, Shrimp and Eggs was decent. The shrimp really overpowered the pork and there was barely any egg to even notice it’s presence. They offer chili oil, garlic sauce and vinegar; a mixture of all three will add a new layer of flavor to each bite.

The lamb dumplings is pretty spot on. The pumpkin sesame dumpling is always great. All other items on the menu was okay.
