Absolutely delicious pork dumplings that are affordable and delicious! It can be limited during certain hours for the menu but what you can get will be worth it! I have added to my rotation.

Fried dumplings were yum and cheap!

This place is tucked off the main avenue and is a bit of a hole in the wall but they truly have the most incredible fried pork dumplings. Perfectly juicy and flavorful. As if it could get any better, it’s only $4 for 8 vey filling dumplings which feels like a steal. This hidden gem is totally somewhere to check out if you value cheap and delicious eats.

Was recommended this dumpling house for cheap eats by my partner. Was not disappointed after ordering our stuff.
While waiting for the food, I figured it must be very good.. BECAUSE SOMEONE CUT MY QUEUE NOT ONCE BUT TWICE. The overall queuing experience was chaotic at best.
They had to order the 锅贴 before me because its that good. They took the last few ones. So I had to settle with the 水煎包 instead.
The buns were great with very well seasoned pork inside.
The sweet 豆浆 was definitely not sweet. I felt healthier after drinking it.
The salty bean curd was cosplaying as its sour spicy soup (酸辣汤). So get that if you want beancurd with their homemade sour spicy soup.
Would try their potstickers (锅贴) in the future, hopefully the queueing gets better.

This is truly a hole in the wall but omg the leek dumplings have always been on point here. The pork buns are pretty good but I come here for the dumplings honestly, twenty years later they are still awesome and flavorful. You get 8 for 4 bucks. I tried the scallion pancake and it was not as great because it lacked scallions and sauce. Go with dumplings and take them to go--you can sit on the library steps cause it is a busy area or walk around and eat.

In terms of value and taste, this is the go-to place for pork-vegetable bun. Other places charge more and give you less. Giving a higher rating than the sum of it's parts on this alone.
The rest of their stuff is standard fare for Chinese breakfast. It's take it or leave it, but they've been here forever so that might mean something to some folks.
