King Wok

We had stop eating Chinese food until recently my friend recommended I try King Wok. OMG I wasn't disappointed. They may be a bit pricey some may think. You get what you pay for and I don't mind paying a bit more for good food and service. Good old style quality Chinese food possibly the best Chinese Food in New York. They make the best pork fried rice old style with the bean sprouts and scrambled egg etc. I have not had good Chinese food like this since the 80's The bbq ribs -perfect Hot and sour soup - good Chicken wings -good Egg roll -good Pork fried rice - perfect The delivery guy is a very nice gentleman very friendly food arrived on time hot and ready. Hopefully they will keep up the good work and we will continue to be loyal customers.

So I ordered from King Wok today at work for lunch I ordered the Lunch Special of Chicken With Broccoli and pork fried rice , a pint of plain Lo Mein and a soda The food was delivered in less than 20 minutes It was fresh and hot The broccoli very fresh It was delicious as was the lo mean It was also a lot of food so I ate half and will have the other half for lunch tomorrow Great food , quick service !!

"Long live the King" [Wok] Been closed a while now (gas problem). Was our goto neighborhood place for Chinese takeout. Food quality was fairly consistent. Now, the grey security gate (closed) doesnt add much ambiance. When open, the floor to ceiling plexiglass Covid partitions and "airlock" arrangement to get food dont help much either. Prices have been creeping up of late. Maybe time to try other takeout joints. There's one on almost every corner in this neighborhood. Update: The King [Wok] is back - 10/20/2020

A great spot for Chinese! The service was good. Timely and organized. Ordering online was easy too. The General Tso's chicken is some of the best I've had! The chicken was saucy, juicy, and had a light crisp. The fried rice was also tasty. The egg rolls, wonton soup, and steamed dumplings were pretty standard but that's a good thing! Will definitely order from here again!

It was quick and easy to order through the website. Providing an estimated time for pickup was very helpful; I sat in my car until 5 minutes before pickup time, and the meal was ready when I entered the restaurant. The beef with Chinese vegetables, was loaded with large pieces of tender beef and fresh veggies. The scallion pancake was hot and crisp and convinced me that King Wok is my "go to" restaurant when I have a hankering for the dish. King Wok has been my favorite Chinese restaurant for more than 25 years. The food is consistently spot on.
