Probably one of the best mapo tofu I have had in New York City. The staff were very friendly too!

One of NYC’s best restaurants and #1 or #2 for delicious and spicy Szechuan food along with Hwa Yuan Szechuan in Manhattan and Szechuan Mountain House in Flushing. If you like spicy and flavorful food make the journey to Flushing to try this out.

Great Szechuan food in flushing. Finally tried this place after coming to flushing for years. Should have tried it sooner. This is a small family run place with amazing food at great prices. There are tons of new Szechuan style restaurants in Flushing that charge exorbitant prices lackluster food. I will be going here from now on.
Docked the service two stars because the waitress was not helpful at all. We tried to ask (in Mandarin by the way not in English) what their specialties are and she pointed to an entire page. Not helpful. When asked again she pointed without saying a word to the single most expensive thing on the menu.
Bottom line this is a Chinese restaurant, expect the service to go along with that.

This restaurant was great, would come back here again! The staff was really nice, the complimentary tea was delicious, and we even got a complimentary sweet dessert that tasted 10/10. Prices were decent for NYC too

Wonderfully authentic dishes, not afraid to bring the heat. Reasonable price for flushing, the dishes were brought out quickly hot out the kitchen. It's a small front that many might miss, but do stop by for a mouth numbing experience.

Absolutley delicious!!! I loved the food and the staff was very nice. We ordered three dishes and all were amazing (we ate the cold chicken appetizer too fast to get a picture) you are offered hot tea when you sit and I believe it is truly a hidden gem.

Delicious szechuan food. I have been chasing the numb feeling of szechuan and high spice levels. This place hits the mark! Tofu, Pork Belly, Crab, and Noodles were amazing.

Delicious food! We ordered a wide variety of dishes. Everything came out quickly and was very flavorful! Excellent portion sizes, great for sharing! Definitely a must try!

This is a hidden gem in Flushing.
The staff was super super nice and professional. Also patient. I had the dumplings and chili oil and the scallion pancakes. I have yet to try some dumplings like those. If you are in the area or even live 30 minutes away, you must go and try these dumplings in chili oil. They are the correct amount of spiciness and flavorful.

Unbelievable Food! If you are looking for authentic Szechuan Style Chinese cuisine you can practically order anything on the menu blind and you'd be satisfied.
The Dan Dan noodles 🍜 were godly. I also highly recommend:
- Dumplings
- Spicy cucumber salad
- Cumin seasoned lamb
- Chicken with chili pepper 🌶️
- Dan Dan Noodles again
It has the vibe of a small Chinese restaurant, not super fancy. The service is also pretty good, you may need to grab their attention once or twice, as there are only a couple fo wait staff.
They are incredibly kind though, they even gave us a free dish to try that I've never had or heard of before.
Caveat for those with a sensitive palette, all the food is a little spicy ranging to very spicy 🔥🥵
If you are coming to Flushing Queens do yourself a favor and COME TO Szechuan House 🏡🙏🌶️
