The Taiwanese food here is very average, but the shaved ice is awesome. People from all over go here just for the ice. They offer individually-sized portions, as well as a 4-person and a 10-person gigantic-sized bowl. Lunch special is a pretty good deal, but don't forget to save room for the shaved ice!

Service was meh... =\ Came here and spent at least 40$ including tip, got 2 main dishes and an appetizer. Rice was complimentary. It's quite filling, Could feed 3 people. We ordered the Baby Shrimp with two flavors, the shredded beef with water celery and sa cha sauce, and the popcorn chicken. For those of you who enjoy popcorn chicken at Quickly's I would recommend getting this dish, it's quite filling, good and really is a simple dish. Don't think popcorn chicken from KFC or Popeyes, you'll be a bit disappointed, but they are more or less the same thing. The best dish was the shredded beef IMHO because it has that barbecue sauce that lots of Asian supermarkets sell in the tin cans for hot pots and marinating. If you like that stuff, this is a good dish to order. The Baby shrimp with two flavors is just that, a set of shrimp in two flavors, not sure looks like plain and ???? sauce separated by a line of water celery. I really didn't like this dish. At first I thiought it was going to be amazing, but it the taste was mediocre, and the ??? sauce was made so the minute it starts cooling, it becomes molasses like, which is a real turn off for me. The place has a beautiful decor, really elegant and simple. It has a nice black and white ambient during the day time, which is nice. It's also very spacious and not crowded, so you can hear yourself and the person across from you. The service was less than great. I won't direct at specifics because I don't know who was at fault, but our first two dishes came quick within 15 minutes, however, they forgot our last dish, and by the time we finished our first two dishes, we still had one more plate coming and had to ask where it was. That dish came almost immediately after we asked, I guess they forgot? The waiter was nice, but slow despite the almost nonexistent customers at the time we were dining. Overall, it's not a bad place to grab dinner, be sure to go with at least 2 friends, the bill should be come out to less than $50 total if you're just ordering standard dishes and sharing. Oh, they also state they have free wifi, but I didn't ask. Make sure you ask if you're a phone person, service in the area is terrible, my service went as low as GPRS(1G).
