This is my favorite cafe by a mile. The lemon drizzle cake is to die for - and I do not even like lemon drizzle cake. The Victoria Sponge cake is the best I have ever had. I love the wall to wall books too.

When we left we said to the staff : "If we lived here we would come in every day!". Great coffee & tea leaf tea, cheery efficient staff, smart intelligent design interior ( with loads of Books ) . . . perfect wifi and we went TWICE during our one day visit to Folkestone for the Triennial. A coffee shop jewel.

We visit Kent every August but hadn't been to Folkestone before. Had a pot of tea and a cheese and ham croissant, both of which hit the mark. The staff were pleasant and the piped music from the late 70s was very up my street. Have said we'll return to Folkestone next August; a visit to the café will be a certainty.

I LOVE this cafe! It's a great addition to Folkestone. The staff are excellent - they are friendly, warm, helpful. The coffee and food is delicious. A great atmosphere whether you are lunching alone or meeting up with friends. The added bonus is its dog friendly! If you're in the area it's well worth a visit

Love coffee shop, fair prices, very generous portions, I had slice of banana bread and shrugged to finish it, lovely coffee. We had to wait a little bit for our order, which completely understandable, given his busy the place was. We will definitely visit again soon ☕🍰

This is probably my favourite coffee shop I've ever been to and I never seem to visit often enough! The cakes are amazing, literally like a doorstop and hard to finish by yourself, I like the fact that half of them are vegan and you wouldn't have a clue because the taste is just as good 😁 The sausage roll has to be the nicest sausage roll I've ever had, but I have a massive soft spot for a bit of caramelised onion 😍🤤 it is a posh sausage roll though, not your typical one but worth every penny! Coffee wise it's great, I'm no coffee expert but for me it's nice enough. I've also tried the chai which isn't particularly traditional chai but a very western chai recipe, sweet and lots of cinnamon- It's fine but could be more authentic. As for the decor and atmosphere, as everyone says it's so cute and cosy.. definitely love this place and the staff are always so lovely and amazing, really friendly and make it a joy to come in 💛

Upon entering, one is immediately enveloped by a warm and inviting ambiance, emphasized by towering bookshelves laden with an impressive collection of books that reach up to the ceiling. The staff exudes genuine friendliness, ensuring a delightful experience. And to top it all, their coffee is exceptionally well-brewed, boasting a rich aromatic scent that tantalizes the senses. Highly recommended for both book and coffee enthusiasts.

What a darling coffee shop! I have a thing for cafes that have books as part of their decor. It gives a place a really homely feel. Great coffee, cake, and food selections. The staff are super friendly, and doge are welcome too. Can highly recommend the Victoria sponge cake if your a fan. The sponge, cream, jam ratio is on point!

Loved this place, service was friendly, and they even got brownies out ready for us. The whole place has a great vibe, and I'll definitely be visiting again! The chalk tables were cool to draw on too which made the short wait for our drinks almost non-existent

Lovely Coffee and tea shop with delicious cakes and huge portions. It’s our first holiday in Folkestone and we are going every day to Steep St, to read and write. The atmosphere, the food and the drinks are all equally good. Waiters are friendly too. Sometimes, you have to wait a bit to get a table but it’s worth it.
