In such a wonderful building, the decor and atmosphere is just as fantastic. Extremely clean with every member of staff being very helpful and polite. It wasn't busy on my visit and drinks served from the Wethspoons app arrived very quickly indeed. The male toilets were spotless with all the taps fu
This place is fantastic! Quick service and kind staff. Food's amazing. Highly recommend!
We were really impressed by this pub, its quite stunning! The Food was excellent, 10 out of 10! service was quick, the Villa Maria was perfectly chilled ( can't stand warm wine) staff very friendly. We had no trouble at all finding a seat upstairs on a Sunday afternoon! Highly recommend!
Great choice, all the time! ♥️ Lovely place, good food and great atmosphere! 👌
Wow, fantastic building. Must be one of the 'spoons finest. Beautiful decor. Toilets are super clean.
Food was good as expected. Fast service, really good drinks selection.
This Wetherspoons is one where they have restored an old building, in this case a church - Methodist I believe - which of course prevents it from being sold for luxury development, thereby retaining it for use by the wider public. And what a result. I really liked it. It's rather good to be able t
Very cool building to house a pub and fantastic service. The staff were friendly, attentive and quick to provide information and help while we were having a meal and a few drinks during a stop on a weekend. Highly recommended!
Nice enough place carpets old and could have done with a clean or replaced
I would give more than 5 stars. Everything was excellent, interior, atmosphere, staff, food and beer. Definitely one the most amazing pubs 🍻
Got served by an absolutely lovely lady, unfortunately didn’t catch her name but she was so bubbly and kind. We didn’t order a lot as we were just popping in (poppadoms and drinks haha) but she still treated us with the same level of respect and service as if we’d ordered a whole meal. Thank you so
Visited on a Thursday night so it wasn't too busy or crowded. Food is ok which is about as expected for a Spoons. Staff were friendly and quick (might be different if busier on other nights).
Huge glorious wetherspoons! Service a bit slow but can expect that in these times. Guinness was great. Steak and chips was adequate. Clean and beautiful building made up for mediocre typical wetherspoons food. Definitely worth a visit.
Love Spoonies we haven’t found one yet that isn’t a pleasure to sit and admire the fabric of the building. Food is always ok but not gourmet (go somewhere else if you’re expecting haute cuisine)
Wow what an amazing & different Spoons. We been to a few but this is a great one, very different with it being in an old church. Didn't have food but service was great, friendly and helpful staff.
Extraordinary and unusal venue in a former church building. We had just drinks - staff was friendly, speedy and supportive. Exceptional variety of beers.
