Beautiful traditional cosy old pub. We stopped here for a cuppa on route to the Emmerdale tour. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. We were served our teas and coffees on a tray, teapots, biscuits, plenty of milk and sugar cubes. Cost £10 for 3 teas, 1 coffee in large cup and saucer. The menu for food had a small but good selection at reasonable prices too. The room we sat in was a quiet room, no mobiles or lap tops allowed ❤️ will definitely visit again when in the area.
Cosy village pub - popular with locals. Very good value ales! Blanket ban on phones & computers. Happy not to see people on their mobiles (only have to pop outside to do that)....but to get a warning for showing a picture on my phone to someone is ridiculous!

Absolutely lovely chap behind the bar. They only do food for 2 hours at lunchtime if that's what you're after!
Great traditional old pub. No music so you can talk. Great beers and always a warm welcome from Ginette and Alan 🍺😊👍
