Good food, great location and atmosphere let down by poor service. We want last Friday to eat the ice cream. And we were waiting to pay for 20 min and 15 min more to get our one ball of tasty ice-cream. Unfortunately the service is generally not good and extremely slow.
I've visited this café several times as I pass through the village, and it's always a good experience. Their pizza is notably authentic and of a much higher quality than most pizzerias. I'm not a regular coffee drinker, but I make an exception here because it's very good. My kids love their "thicksh
We came here twice: once for some afternoon snacks and once for breakfast. The pizzas were really flavourful. Everything at breakfast was great: toast was perfectly crispy, cakes were moist and delicious, and coffees were great! Would definitely come again.
Lovely visit for breakfast. Food excellent. I had a sausage roll from the cabinet, which was heated and was full of flavour. Coffee high quality. Sat in the booth type area at the back. Comfortable and good service.
We did the country park bike route with the kids for about an 1.5h and arrived at Java&Jazz tired and hungry. We ordered 4 pizza's and they arrived in 7min and were incredibly delicious. With kids it help so much getting food quickly. In addition, i have coeliac and dairy sensitivity, and they could
Popped in for a early morning coffee and vegan sausage rolls on our way to an experience at go wild at the Warren. Excellent service, tasty food. Will definitely come back as the menu looks great and it's a lovely place with lovely service.
Had a lovely pizza here, one of the better ones in a long time! Highly recommend the 4 cheeses!
Absolutely incredible experience! We visited for my partner's birthday and I thought I would be cheeky and ask to bring in a cake. This was no bother for the team who really went the extra to light candles, decorate the cake, jazz up the deserts and really make the birthday feel special. Additionall
The coffee is excellent quality. It's hard to go anywhere else now. The staff are really friendly and the food is delicious. I have had many pizzas from Java and Jazz and would highly recommend it; especially after a long walk in the nearby Ashdown Forest.
Nice place, we went there last Saturday afternoon for coffee and ice cream. Was quite busy at the time. I had one from the best ice creams there. Long time waiting for order and we just had hot drinks and ice cream.
Had a lovely breakfast here , lots of choice and amazing food. Times for breakfast are great too. Outside seating was nice on a sunny day. Ice creams are really nice and their milkshakes are great. All round good experience . Perfect for range of people.
Really liked it. Was expecting some jazz music in the background, but no music at all. 😔. But still had good time. Parking a bit hit or miss outside.
Stopped for a drink during a 5 mile walk, polite staff, nice big pot of tea and great coffee. Will be back for sure.
