Had a Christmas lunch here today with 2 friends and food was amazing. As a veggie I had the mushroom risotto with chestnuts which was like no other risotto I had ever tasted. Simply the best. Friends had the turkey and raved about it as well. Seems folk keep coming back for it while it’s on the menu. And that Sticky Figgy Pudding was awesome. Forres has some great eating places but this has to rank as the best food I’ve tasted so far.

My husband and I had a meal on Saturday night. Starter was muligatawny soup (a big favourite) then we had chicken burgers. The food is lovely and not expensive. Arrived quickly. We stayed to watch Act 2. Great entertainment. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend a visit.

We decided to eat in the bar so glad we did, it was very nice warm and welcoming, I had the Haddock which was delicious and my husband had the Roast beef special which he said was equally as delicious. Naomi and Aymie are a credit to this pub.

Ages since I've been here, but what a transformation following refurbishment. Pleasant little bar with nice staff and what looks like a separate dining area. We didn't dine but it looked very welcoming

Went here with my mum for lunch. I had the buttermilk chicken burger and she had steak pie. They were both delicious and good prices. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. Would recommend and will be back.

Best bar meals around moray....chef will cook anything for u. My Vegan wife had a vegan curry😋👍 lovely and chunky she said. Always good food here10/10. Staff very friendly.
