Hidden restaurant, little bit out of the centre. We arrived here late, but we were still allowed to sit and have dinner. Loved the haggis with whisky sauce. Quick service.
The restaurant was big and cozy. Clean toilets as well. The service was superb and the food was great. I ordered the Mac & Cheese. It taste like home cooked meal. The garlic bread was phenomenal as well with real garlic bits. The coleslaw was creamy and the side salad was incredibly fresh. Value for money. And they are just enough portion as well not too small and not too much. Well done!
We visited this Restaurant 3 times during our stay at the Highland Lodges at Fort Augustus . The name does not reflect the quality of the food & ambience of the place . We could not fault the food which was so well cooked , presented and quality ingredients . The Staff are Friendly and welcoming . Unfortunately it was closed on Wednesday and Thursday , otherwise we would have eaten there again .

The food is simply outstanding. I have came down from spending 4 days on isle of Skye and have sampled several restaurants within but must say,this is the best. Food cooked fresh. Great portions. The restaurant is spotless,toilets also spotless.
The staff were awesome,very helpful,did not feel rushed at all. I will definitely return.

During our 10 day trip around Scotland, this place had one of, if not the best food we had while in country. Their service was second to none. If visiting the area, you have to dine here. 🇺🇸 🏴
