The Falcon Inn - Fotheringhay - Photo album

Had my birthday meal here recently. A specially crafted tasting menu with wine flight. It was an amazing evening. Maddie, Zack and team did an amazing job. Food was banging!
We had an exceptional meal at the Falcon last night. My best mate Tom, who is a local to the Falcon asked them to curate a 4 course menu for his birthday, for a party of around 30 of us. The food, the service and organisation of the meal was exceptional. Every bite was delicious, in particular the l
This continues to be our favourite place to eat around Peterborough. It's a lovely pub and restaurant with beautiful views of the church, especially at night. The food is stunning with a changing a la carte menu based on seasonal produce. They also offer a brilliant bar menu too, it really is superb
Treat yourselves it’s well worth a visit and the area and countryside are to die for I’ll be back ps great pint 🍺
Nice English village with great architecture from a bygone era. Great service from knowledgeable servers. Food was modern twist on traditional menu.
A wonderful evening, sat in their garden with our dog. Eating amazing pizza cooked in their wood fired cob oven. The staff, actually the owners, gave impeccable service, highly welcoming and genuinely friendly, thankyou for a wonderful experience, the glorious night sky and warm evening was
Dec '21 Very nice modernised country pub in the fascinating, quaint & very historic village of Fotheringhay. We were greeted by a lovely wood fire that made the place feel very homely & cosy. There was a nice selection of traditional ales & modern beers & a very good food menu too. Nice friendly & h
Perfect village pub and restaurant. It's clean and cosy, not cramped and dingy. Open fire, decent beer, pleasant atmosphere and the restaurant does very nice food without being pretentious. Views of the church are great too. Staff are friendly and attentive. Summer BBQs in the good sized garden.
A lovely place to dine with a choice of bar , restaurant and garden. The location is wonderful with stunning views of the great church and the castle ruins down the road to walk off any excess. Food is consistently good and we have been coming here for 20 years.
We paid the falcon a visit for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks back and were really impressed. Firstly they were perfectly set up to manage the challenges that COVID brings. It's spacious and airy, and there is signage explaining which way to go. I was really happy that upon arrival, a table had been
The restaurant was surprisingly quiet, but my pigeon madras starter and guinea fowl main course were excellent. However I thought the ales and lagers a bit expensive.
Great pub - the Sunday roast was delicious, lots on the plate and the service was fantastic. We sat in the orangery which was quite hot . Reasonable price for area.
Although our food took a short while to arrive, it was one of the best lunches we have ever enjoyed. The pub has a smallish garden to the side of the property and a lovely restaurant area too but we ate in the bar area. The falcon is situated in a stunning village close to a breathtaking church and
Really outstanding food and great surroundings. Willing and friendly staff. BUT service was ‘chaotic’. Was a guest so not too bothered but embarrassed for our hosts. Bits and pieces requested but staff had to be reminded(Hand towels in toilets, no toilet roll, no forks for cake, sauce for mains turn
