A local to my friends in Cornwall, so we are in here a lot when in town. A wonderfully friendly crowd, and that's brought in by the friendly staff and management :)
Good food, quick service and a great selection of drinks. Big parking lot too, and a kids play area.
What a lovely pub which is very friendly and community based. We arrive only to find we'd picked an evening where the local community were all celebrating one of the customers birthday with an "open mike "night. The whole place was humming with a lovely vibrant atmosphere , so much so that we asked

Really friendly service and nice range of drinks, food was absolutely fine typical pub grub. The daily specials were the pick of the menu and tasty. Did use the accommodation.
Vikings go to Valhalla to dine and drink in the great hall with the gods to celebrate a glorious and noble death, however they should have gone to The Blue Anchor for the Sunday roast and beer, a much more satisfying experience for excellent food and a tasty beverage, id hate to be a Viking and miss
Stayed the night in our motorhome via Britstop membership. Lovely pub with great atmosphere and good food. Friendly, helpful owners.
Lovely little locals bar but all welcome, music nights and the like, generally a nice atmosphere but I never remember leaving, it's odd
We had just arrived in Cornwall staying in Fraddon, came across the Blue Anchor pub....Food was excellent, we both enjoyed it, staff are friendly, will go again
