Review The Swan Inn - Fradley

Great place to sit outside by the canal, lots of outdoor seating at the front and back of the pub. We enjoyed a lovely meal inside, pub was very busy but the food came out relatively quickly. Staff lovely too.

Great place for some food and a pint at the side of the canal. Can't be beaten on a sunny day watching the boats going through the locks and navigating through Fradley Junction.

Nice little pub. Great to sit near the canal and have a drink. Plenty of benches outside if the sun is shining. Can always sit or stand by the canal too. Would recommend stopping by for a drink.

Visited The Swan for 'Wednesday Bike Night' ... Lovely location by the canalside ... Bar service was good and waiting time minimal. I just had drinks, but they do food menu as well. I rated this a biker friendly venue, well worth a visit 🙂

Pub food. Get served at bar. Lovely staff. Very lively atmosphere. Friendly and beautiful location. Loads of friendly bikers showing off on a hot day but not the least off-putting to folk who want a quieter time. They were really helpful and supportive at the bar to support our run from Nottingham to Stoke along the canal.

A lovely meal at The Swan at Fradley Junction. We were able to park next to the pub and sat outside to eat, as it was a lovely evening. The staff were friendly and they have a great selection of draft ales, as well as other beverages. A good menu, only one side shown on my photos, with burgers and other items on the rear. Tables outside all numbered and food brought out after ordering at the bar. All the food we ate was nicely presented and portions decently sized. We needed a gentle walk along the beautiful canal afterwards as we felt rather full, having enjoyed a main course and dessert. And what a lovely place to sit outside for a drink or food or both! We will definitely be returning.

Dog friendly! Popped in for a swift half after a lovely Sunday afternoon amble along the canal. Pretty busy inside with folks enjoying nice looking meals warmed by an open fire. We sat outside, where there was plenty of seating front and back, with a lovely view of the canal. Will be back for a meal I'm sure.

Visited 3 times whilst staying in the area. Lovely pub serving great food in a friendly environment, outdoor space and a lovely cellar restaurant area. Generous portions and food came in a reasonable time even when busy. Staff are incredibly friendly. Craig was a joy to chat to.

A pleasant pub with plentiful walks in the area of interest. Attentive and polite staff with reasonably priced good quality food. My Fish and chops had a generous portion of fish and well cooked tasty chips.

We came here as it was recommended by friends for the Sunday lunch we arrived in plenty of time to be given a table in the cellar only to find out that it wasn't ours I went back up to be told our table was up the corner by the window instead we decided to order the 2 course menu having the carvery & dessert we were given our tokens for the carvery & off we went, I asked for some of all of the meats on offer I was given a very small slice of the turkey & pork he then carved a chunk of beef from which blood oozed out & well the piece of gammon was a mouthful at best he then bent down to get me a Yorkshire pudding & 2 roast potatoes 1 of which looked black inside & a piece of stuffing there was a variety of vegetables on offer along with mashed potato. We had only just finished our meal when we were asked what we wanted for dessert we had the Eton mess cheesecake & the red velvet cake both with cream. Hence to say we for one won't be telling ppl to come for Sunday lunch although I'm sure there's many more ppl who will say otherwise the other food that was being served did look really appetizing so maybe next time I'll try something else instead They have a great selection of real ales on offer along with all of the drinks you expect to find in a pub

Been under new management for 3 months and last night they started a Thursday special. 2 steaks and a bottle of wine £25 you can have 8 oz Rump, Ribeye or Sirloin, or for an extra £3 a 16oz T-Bone. We had the Ribeye and T-Bone and they were both lovely. The wine was very nice as well (Merlott). Staff very friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Thank you, will most certainly be back.
