Excellent Food tonight - One of the best around for sure. Recommend the lamb Shank, Fajitas, and the Lemon Meringue Pie 10/10. Service was excellent as well, many thanks

Cosy pub offering good food with generous portion sizes. Friendly staff and dogs very welcome - water and doggy treats readily available! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

I have one niggle here but firstly
I cannot recommend this beautiful pub enough! When visiting family this is our go to place for a meal, menu choice is outstanding and delicious, super friendly staff who are extremely attentive. Now for my niggle.... we have been on several occasions on a Sunday for the luscious roast, now I can completely understand that roast potatoes are not on the menu monday-saturday but when they are on a Sunday why are they not a choice? My husband loves the belly of pork and on all occasions we've been on a Sunday we have asked for roast potatoes with it and have been told no, that doesn't come with roast potatoes! but we can order a portion of them, I think this is a little out of order and I'm pretty sure we are not alone in our thoughts..please please amend the roast potato policy,

We had Sunday lunch and food and service was excellent. Even our dog was looked after by the wonderful staff. Highly recommended, but would advise to book as seemed very busy.

Despite us not having booked and being short staffed in the kitchen the helpful staff sorted us out with exactly what we wanted (off menu). Really quick and great service. Tasty food and great 🍺

Have visited a few times over the years and have always had a soft spot for the pub. I have visited recently for an after-work drink with my Dad and was not disappointed! Very happy and friendly staff. A proper country pub! Will definitely book for a Sunday lunch!

We were there today, greeted by cheerful staff and a very well laid out beer garden. The food menu has a range of options and this is one of the rare pubs that offer Zero alcohol beer other than Heineken brand. Very pleasant atmosphere, quick service and clean. Highly recommended!
