There is dining and there is fine dining, Brasted's certainly offers fine dining. The welcome was warm and friendly, the service efficient and the staff were knowledgeable about the food but willing to say that they would ask if they were not sure. The menu was varied offering 3 or 4 courses which were complimented with entrees, canapés and an amuse bouch. The wine list was equally fine. Ashley and his team looked after us fabulously with Freddie keeping an eye on our wine. Not an everyday experience but thats what makes it special.

I held my father's wake at Brasteds for about 150 people. I can't fault anything, from the welcome in the car park to the final stragglers at the end, everything was perfect. Incredibly slick service. Utterly fabulous canapés, including mini beef Yorkshires, arancini, tuna tartare, and many more.... Young grandchildren catered for too. Under instruction the champagne was flowing freely, but tea and coffee were also on tap. Lovely spacious, clean venue with plenty of safe parking. And it's safe for smalleys to run around too. The best send off I can imagine for my precious dad, he would have loved it. Thank you.

Here for a wedding, so the food was chosen for us. Post-pandemic restaurants are having trouble finding staff, but Brasted's seem to have bypassed that - the team that served us drinks, canapés and the meal were brilliant, and incredibly well organised by the team manager. The food was excellent, the room and settings looked fabulous, and the day went perfectly. Six stars, if I could...

We went there as a special treat, for the first time, before I have an operation soon. It was just what the doctor ordered! Wonderful food, lovely surroundings, helpful attentive staff. Unhurried but smooth-running service. Felt pleasantly full, and pampered afterwards. We'll be back when we have a special occasion to celebrate. Thank you Brasted's!
