Not bad quality and atmosphere but I paid $15 for this ham and cheese toast with legit one slice of ham??? What the heck lol... Like how? Just because they gave it a name that makes you feel pretentious while eating it? It would legit cost like $3 max to make... Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, it looks like most of the complaints on here are about this one sandwich

Really annoyed by my recent takeaway which was 2 croque messieurs. Please just call it a ham and cheese sandwich as it is nothing more than that, with zero flavour which a CM has a lot of. It was supposed to come with a side salad which was non existent. For $15 this is not value for money and very disappointing.

I have been buying my morning WFH coffee's from here since covid struck in early 2020. The best coffee and the best service, always friendly and always professional. Today i had the pleasure of having lunch here with my son, Charlie. The food was amazing. If you are heading to Freshie for a coffee or a bite to eat be sure to check them out and tell them Ian sent you! :) Ian

Great fresh juice and smoothie selection. Some sandwich and wraps options too from the shelf. Do get their bowls as they were pretty wholesome.

We’re from the east and we don’t often get to the North Side, but we do enjoy exploring the beaches and the cafes! A day off gave us the opportunity to head over and enjoy brunch at Little Collins, Freshwater. About 5 minutes walk from the beach, located on the strip of shops in Freshwater, the cafe is on a corner spot, uncover but open to the breeze and daily sunlight. Stylish and casual fit out with wire chairs, hanging pendant lights and flowers for a decorative element. Staff are friendly and hospitable, make your order at the counter and food is brought to you when ready, and it is quite efficiently. We begin with our coffee, made using Campos beans, and had this with our healthy brekkie bar for a nice little snack while our meal was prepared. Drink wise, there’s plenty of juices and smoothies or milkshakes and kombucha. The menu sports all day brekkie and lunch from 11am with your traditional brekkie favourites, as well as super healthy items like acai, Bircher and salads for lunch. We order savoury dishes; the smashed avo, lemon labneh + dukkah with cherry tomatoes, and dukkah. We added mushrooms to the dish. We also ordered the scrambled eggs with a side of kale and relish. The eggs were nice and creamy, with crispy bread. It was a great brekkie and a good option since you can choose from a range of add ons. The food can be ordered eat in or to go, and if you’re in a rush, there’s also plenty of food ready in the window, from muffins, croissants to healthy slices and we had a few of these too. Coffee is by campos, a mainstream favourite, and there’s also plenty of options for tea, juice or smoothies. Food here is well priced and the cafe overall is very approachable.

Not too shabby but lacks some finesse to get higher. The Trio of eggs Benny was a bit hit and miss. The overall taste was kind of sweet and the hollandaise looked like it was squirted from a bottle. No complaints about the coffee

We live about 100m from here and would love this place to be better than it is. Great location to watch the world pass by and that's where the greatness ends. As other reviewers have said, underwhelming and high prices. I concur. Average coffee (in comparison to other good options available in the area). For the prices I would expect to have full table service not pay at the counter. It's a tough one as some of the food is actually quite good. The corn fritters weren't cooked properly and just totally disappointing. Other meals we've had have been ok and on the small side. Service is average and has a slight element of staff being too cool for school or would rather be down the beach or shopping in one of the boutique Freshie shops. They certainly don't appear to be enjoying the process of ’working’. I hope the management do read this review as I believe that this cafe could improve endlessly with just a few service modifications, training and adjusting some of the dishes, ie the corn fritters. Kids smashed avo on toast is great but the addition of another slice of toast would be of benefit for the kids to use up the leftover avo.
