Yum! The steak and eggs are so yummy! Super flavor filled. The biscuits and gravy are awesome! I dream about the pancakes! Today Julia and Theresa took care of us. We love this place. The atmosphere is great. The people are fun and not stressed out. It's often busy. So worth the wait. We have tried everything and it's all awesome! We highly recommend this awesome place!

Very long wait for a table and kitchen slow too. The restaurant was clearly busy. I Walked in to get a table and they had a sign-in sheet. I wrote my name on the sheet along with the number of people in my party. I requested the umbrella table outside and the woman said they'd clean it for us. They bussed and wiped the table but didn't seat us there. Instead they let us continue to wait while they rang up other tables, closed out their checks, bussed those tables etc. This was understandable. They were busy. Meanwhile, a family comes in from the street and sits down at that table, and they got service before my party. Did they sign in on the list? No. They just waltzed in and got service before us. In fact two big families did. Why bother using a sign-in sheet? We could have just sat down at the table and let them come and take our orders. Long story short, we waited a very long time for a table, and then a very long time for the kitchen to get the orders up. The quality of the food was good. The service was good, aside from the very long wait. However, the wait was terribly long and ruined the dining experience. I've been a customer for years and they've always been good. For those other visits I give the restaurant five stars. This rating is for the most recent dining experience.

I got sick from here!! Cooks dont wash their hands, food gets microwaved to "melt the cheese", they seem to not day dot any of their food as they serve expired food and the old lady(I believe the wife) had to taste it to see if the food was old - and it was. I've witnessed the owner pull a DIRTY towel out of the filthy, unchanged sanitizer water (they use on tables customers had eaten from) and use it on the knives and counter tops he uses to prep and cut food. Witnessed the owner scratch and pick his butt without washing his hands and continues to cook and touch food. Uses the same counter tops for all goods like meat and veggies which is cross contamination. No wonder I got food poisoning. I and my husband do not reccomend ever coming here.

The food here is home cooked HEAVEN. The people are like the friendliest you could ever meet and if you just want to take A break from fast foods or slaving in the KITCHEN THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. IT IS SO DOWN TO EARTH, OLD STYLE , FRESH COOKED, BREAKFAST, LUNCH OR DINNER TYPE MEALS MADE JUST THE WAY YOU WANT WITH THE OLD TIME COURTESY THAT WEVE LOST IN THIS FAST MOVING WORLD. IF YOU JUST WANT TO SLOW DOWN AND ENJOY LIFE WITH A PLATE OF DELISOUS FOOD AND FRIENDS OR FAMILY TRY THIS OLD SCHOOL DINER ,BITS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR.
