Fair priced coffee of good quality. Food inconsistently priced-cookie at £3.20 which seems high Vs a more reasonable sausage roll at £4.20. Window hatch service for takeaway only at the moment. Pitch and putt looked in good condition given the season.
This is a great place to either stop for a coffee with friends or pick up a coffee to walk with. Dog friendly, great selection of cafe style food, a little pricey but given its location I don't mind this
Under new management, the Lodge Cafe continues to provide excellent service, the place to visit for food and refreshments.

The cafe is in a lovely location connected with the park. Great for a family day out.
The cafe are under new management and it shows with them being a little disorganised. Lovely piece of cinnamon and carrot cake but the tiniest cup of tea. If it was served in a pot then you would get 2 cups worth.
It's is so good that you can take your dog 🐕 into the cafe with you. We always stop off for a hot chocolate before our walk and then we can get warmed up as you begin. The staff are very friendly and helpful 🙂.

Nice cafe seeking drinks and small dishes. Plenty of outdoors seating, not so much inside. Clean and comfortable and friendly staff. Decent place for a coffee if you're visiting the park.
