Cheese & Grain - Frome - Photo album

Although the parking charges are quite expensive per hour, the Cheese and Grain is the perfect place for different events (arts & crafts, records and camera sellers, the list goes on). From the famous, to the tribute bands. This small establishment, is getting more and more well-known, world wide, w
Excellent cafe forming part of events location. Good range of snacks, including homemade cakes and sandwiches. Recommended as a break while shopping in Frome. Good parking
The Cheese and Grain is a fabulous venue to see bands. It’s large enough to accommodate large well bands yet small enough to give that personal view for the performer and crowd alike. The bar is a reasonable price and there is a large car park. I love the old fashion atmosphere you get watching a ba
The Guns N’ Roses Experience would like to thank you guys for the absolutely amazing gig! Great crowd, superb sound! Seeya next time!
There's very few places where both the Foo Fighters and an arts and craft market have been on in the same week. Great venue
This place is just brilliant! They have some incredible bands on. I strongly recommend becoming a 'friend of the Cheese and Grain' because then, you get advance notice of any 'special' bands playing. This evening for instance was a prime example - I have just returned from seeing The Pretenders! Le
Fantastic venue, great facilities for small to medium crowds. Great music event! Bar was well staffed. A little small but good
I've seen a number of artists here - Rat Race, Lindisfarne, Steve Harley - wonderful performances, wonderful atmosphere, wonderful music! Easy to find and good parking, an absolutely ideal way to spend an evening.
Great venue right in the middle of the town, lots of parking directly outside and food stalls and cafe with a bar inside
Brilliant venue in Frome, friendly helpful staff make it very enjoyable. 6 of us watched Gary Davies do his live sounds of the 80s which was epic, hope he comes back to Frome again!
Fat boy slim just after Covid restrictions had lifted… one of the best venues which was full of genuine people. What a great kick start back to normality.
Went to a gig there for first time this week. Great venue, easy parking next to it (free in evenings). Had a query so phoned box office earlier, very helpful person there. Bands started promptly, 8pm support, 9pm headline (Johnny Marr) and 'curfew' is 11pm. Will be going again, it was a v positive e
Great venue with some quality acts. Never found it very 'disability friendly' at gigs as mostly standing only. Cafe is excellent and dog friendly. Staff are great. It's definitely worth becoming a Friend of C&G for discounts and early ticket access.
Great local venue with Great acts, always enjoy our Nights out here !
Great venue! Had such such good night. Staff are fab and the sound was excellent. My only ask would be better air con as it was melting hot in there, but I can imagine it's not an easy feat to manage the temperature in a venue, and it certainly won't put me off returning!
Excellent venue and a great local place to see touring bands and artists. First time visit with some friends to see The Sweet and Limehouse Lizzy. Great set up, with bars and food (not available on night). Well attended gig though not so crowded that it felt in awkward or uncomfortable in the curren
I love this venue as it's small enough to feel quite intimate but has had some really big names playing there. Only thing is when I've worked all day before a gig, some seats would be a godsend.
Lovely hall and friendly atmosphere. Saw the Pretenders. It was excellent. Chrissie Hynde was lovely. Beer prices not bad for these days.
Beware! Lovely cake! Lots of choice to drink! Hot snacks too. Indoor and outdoor seating. Disabled access and loo. Free parking nearby for disabled. Of course the hall has many events. See website.
