Easily the best Fish & Chips I've tried in Frome so far. It's up there with some of the best I've tried - and I've lived all over England's coast. Batter was light and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside & tasted great. Cod was chunky and not watery at all. Chips were really nice as well - chunky, slightly crispy and not soggy. Packgaing was nice too. This place may get overlooked as its in the town near the resturants &pubs - but it is well worth making a few minutes extra journey to try it (I was actually going to Codswallop but it was very busy so decided to try this - I am very glad I did).

Friendly staff and the food is great. Plenty of gluten free options which is fantastic. Although we live an hour away we still come back time and again whenever we are passing.

Absolutely hands down the best fish and chips for miles around. The lightest crispy batter and the freshest fish with extra bonuses like homemade tartare sauce. Cannot fault it.

Great fish and chips last night , mine were gluten free and delicious, so good to find gluten free that tastes like proper batter and crispy , not soggy . Everyone else loved their's as well . Thankyou Barnacle Bill .

We always come here to eat, either eat in or takeaway, every time we visit Frome. The food is fantastic, and the gluten free menu is reliable and tasty. The staff are meticulous over the preparation of gluten free options, showing really good awareness of contamination issues and ingredient knowledge. I would heartily recommend this eatery, whether you are coeliac or not.

Great chippy, when I'm running late for games club, I always use them and think they are the best in Somerset!
Always friendly plus cater for vegetarians and I believe vegans at a great price.
They are doing a pick up service during lock down, pre order between monday and Wednesday then pick up round the back.

Lovely traditional fish and chips fayre, all well cooked and presented. They also have a wide range of alternative vegan or gluten free dishes. The restaurant doesn't have the huge mark-up in price compared to some other local competitors. Easily the best balance of food quality and value in Frome.

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Chips were crisp on the outside and soft and flavoursome on the inside. Fish batter was lovely and crisp and the fish was fresh, flavoursome and tender. Curry sauce was great. They also do very good vegan options so wife was very happy too.

What a lovely old fashioned eat-in fish and chip shop! They could not have been nicer when we visited and they even do VEGAN battered sausage which helped keep our entire party happy - pretty impressive to produce meals for 11 people at the same time :-)
