Review The White Hart Country Inn - Fulbourn

We loved this place and the friendly welcome we received when we arrived. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. After a great night's sleep and a good shower using lovely fluffy towels, we went down for breakfast, served between 7.30am and 9.30am we were told, at 8.45am approximately. We were the only diners and our breakfast looked good when it arrived, but it was cold which is why overall we can't 5 star rate our stay. The coffee was not good either compared with the great coffee the lovely woman on duty when we arrived made us after our night out on Tuesday 24th. We just felt little things were missing as well at breakfast, like clean side plates for toast rather than everything lumped onto one plate. There were jams for toast provided so a fresh plate would have been good. It felt as if providing us with breakfast was a bit of an effort given we were the last to be served assuming there were others staying. We didn't see anyone else! We'd like to return knowing next time we'd enjoy our breakfast as we did love the place and there was good parking too.

Have an amazing meal here and we brought our little puppy. They could not help us enough. The food was really amazing. I would recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately it was not that busy so I hope they get the support they deserve. The place is clean and looks like a recent refurb. Give it a go!

A lovely place, beautiful decor, the service was good and the meal great. However, we left sad. The entire place was empty on a Saturday night. We’d also been into the Rabbit and Hat and the Six Bells. Fulbourn…where are you? All these places were lovely, but no one out. I predict the village will be a residential suburb of Cambridge within the next ten years.

Very stylish and modern with a lovely country feel. Had a tasty breakfast with professional and friendly service from Gino! He was very attentive and polite. Definitely recommend a visit! We will be dining there again for an evening meal very soon!

I popped in today for a spontaneous lunch date with my 3 year old son. I’ve never been before and was pleasantly surprised! Arriving anywhere with a hangry toddler isn’t easy, but the woman serving the bar and tables was amazing with him. She even let him have a little after dinner chocolate to buy me time to look at the menu and place an order ~ if it wasn’t for her my experience could have been very different. I had a pizza, clearly fresh dough, loaded with a selection of beautiful cheeses and fresh basil. My son had a kids fish and chips and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had some nice cordials in the courtyard garden and even my son’s drink had a lovely fruit garnish. Although we sat outside the restaurant inside was incredibly attractive. I only live up the road and have just found a decent all-round pub, suitable for everything from child friendly lunches and refreshments to nice evening dinners with friends. Again, I cannot praise the woman who served us enough - she was attentive, thoughtful and helpful. Thank you!

Excellent service, excellent food, great atmosphere in an exceptionally well run pub restaurant. It was our first visit and on Father's Day and there were 7 plus a child. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent food, excellent service and couldn't accommodate better my request for a quiet area to take an important zoom call. Really grateful, I will be back and will defo give their sister pub in Cambridge a visit - The Old Spring.

This is my lovely local pub having moved into the village just before our first lockdown. What a beautiful village pub. My first visit couldn’t have been more nicer.Friendly, that’s including dogs in the bar also, which is great for me and no doubt a lot of other owners during lockdown when everyone got a puppy!! I call in on my way home for a glass of wine and the hospitality and service is excellent. They remember my name and my tipple. We have eaten here a couple of times and the food is excellent. A huge thank you to all of the staff. Well worth a visit. Thank You.

Had a lovely meal with my wife here on 7th March. Food was good, prices reasonable and good draught cider. We received very professional and friendly service from the waitress Sasha. A good evening for us. We will return when weather improves. We both had meat dishes that were tasty and well presented. I had a lovely profiterole desert, but I was advised by Sasha that there was a good cheese board.

Just had a beautiful family meal for 10 people. Absolutely amazing, from the pub to the food and waitress service. Especially enjoyed the fish and chips. Good portions and perfectly cooked. Would reccomend.

Had driven past on many occasions but never stopped. Now that I have I'm glad I did. I had pie of the day (lamb and ale) with a side order of seasonal veggies and new potatoes for mid-week lunch Very well prepared. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. On site parking. Disabled access. Would probably book ahead if I was going for dinner or meals on weekends. See my pictures for internal decor. Press like if this review was helpful.

Double rooms are on the small size and double beds seem to be snaller still and placed against the wall so if the person on the inside need to use the bath room, one up both up not ideal. This was the only down side. The food is quality, well prepared and presented, breakfast excellent as is the service, staff could not be more helpful.
