Going to be moving to the area soon so we (Mrs and i) were looking for the cosy cafe type where we can relax when off work. Had a wonder around and came across this gem, looked to have gone through a recent refurbishment. Gone for a modern but 60s feel to the place. Very smart but a little crowded if I'm honest. Food was cheap enough but so immediately on our guard for cheap food but it really wasn't! Mrs gad the cottage pie and she loved it! Our guest had I think the steak and kidney pie, both with veg and chips. Portions were fine but the big winner was those chips! Not sure if home made but the moment I tried one I was whipped back to when I was a lad visiting my great aunt near Duley WM and her home made chips!! Heaven!! I'll be very sure to keep going now to escape our busy work lives! 10/10 and you must go!
