The Wheatsheaf - Garstang - Photo album

What a lovely welcoming & friendly pub. Excellent, good quality food with plentiful portions. Would highly recommend to others. I had messaged before arrival receiving a prompt informative reply. Thank you so much for our pleasant experience. Will hopefully see you next time we stay in Garstang.
**update .. stopped here again for a light bite again amazing food and Fabulous service .. this place is a must** Had a bit of a day out and stopped off at this place for a bite to eat. I can't rate this place highly enough from management to bar staff the service couldn't be any better. Was gree
Great food - all seemed to be freshly made to order. The portions were very generous as well as being delicious, so we all left full and happy! Staff were really friendly, and the meals were very good value. We were just visitors to the area, but would return to the Wheatsheaf if we were ever back!
Joined on the Tuesday Night Quiz and let me tell you - it was such a fun evening. The quizmaster was brilliant and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Market town pub, nicely furnished, great for food, decent beer (Timothy Taylor’s) too. Gluten-free options. Eat in or outside, at the front or in the rear beer garden. Low beams!
Wow what a lovely pub. The Sunday roasts are amazing + best pint of Timothy Taylors landlord I have ever drank. Only stopped in Garstang to charge the ev and again found a gem of a place. I honestly can't praise this place enough, really friendly welcome and great food and drink. Thank you
Great pub in one lancashires better towns. Good tasty food set in an atmospheric venue
Very nice pub. Good selection of drinks. I haven’t eaten there but the food looks lovely.
Food service had finished but we had a few drinks. Jack and the young lady with dark hair (sorry I did not ask her name) working the bar were lovely. Very clean. Great atmosphere, not rowdy or out of hand. Lots of room outside, front and back. Moretti is kept really well. Other customers are frie
It was almost time for food service to stop when we got there but we were served a lovely Sunday lunch with a smile. Lots of veg, yorkie and a decent portion of meat. Pudding was good too. Thank you. We both enjoyed it(and our drinks! )
Ate here twice, while on canal trip. No issues, perfect all round, was there when the previous 1* reviewer was at the pub. Complete nonsense what they have written, they should be ignored.
Great place for food and very welcoming atmosphere and people. The cheese and onion pie is highly recommended!
A traditional pub atmosphere where you’ll likely find a dog under the table and the people are friendly (sounds twee but that’s what I experienced) The Sunday roast was excellent
Very friendly staff. Looks like an old pub ..good atmosphere. We have to be A bit picky at pubs ..music can be loud...but just right I think here. Food was lovely.. plenty of it...my only preferred would be not to serve the rice and curry on top of the poppadom...it went soggy. I did order coffe
