Love this place there is so much to do. The kids enjoyed the arcade area and the slushie shop where u fill your own cups with as many flavours and add fresh ice cream on top! It's the best thing ever. This place also has an indoor play area, cinema and bowling. Lots of food places. Rock climbing and
I recently had the pleasure of visiting an incredible shopping mall located in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This massive shopping center is truly amazing and consists of four malls combined into one convenient location. Each mall is color-coded with Yellow, Red, Green, and Blue. I parked at the Yellow Mall,
I visited the MetroCentre while on holiday in the area, mainly just to see what it was like as it is listed as the UKs BIGGEST shopping centre. As soon as I arrived I parked easy as there were plenty of spaces. Parking FREE is a bonus too as it means I can explore shops for as long as I want without
I strongly suggest watching a movie at ODEON and being in the arcade. If you're visiting Newcastle you shouldn't miss out on that ^ but it's worth a visit too if you like shopping or just looking around stores. Especially during the holidays or events to see more decorations.
Young Drivers operate in the Metrocentre coach park. They provide 1-2-1 driving lessons for youngsters 10-17, in "real" cars! My 10yo grandson has been 3 times, either here or at Newcastle Racecourse. He absolutely loves it, and by the time he's able to take his tests, he'll be a much better driver
Great shopping all under one roof. Building is now looking very dated and could do with a facelift but there are a lot of empty/closed shops which is sad to see. Toilet and baby change facilities are excellent and the mall is very clean.
Gotta be my favourite shopping centre, great variety of shops. A little sad to see the gaps left by recently collapsed high street chains, but still loads there. First time I've used the train to get there and found that it was incredibly easy to visit that way.
The Metro Centre, located in Gateshead, UK, is a bustling shopping and entertainment complex. With a vast array of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options, it offers a diverse and enjoyable shopping experience for visitors. From high-end fashion outlets to cozy cafes and family-friendly activi
Great shopping day, everything under one roof. Plenty places to eat and drink. It's a pity that just like every high street there were quite a few boarded up shops. A great day out.
ASK Italian. Great new menu with fab mains and desserts. Staff very pleasant, good place for a break from shopping
Clean, tidy, huge variety of shops, free and ample parking. Just lacked customers and atmosphere 🤷‍♂️
Great selection of shops and easy to access all parts of the centre. Plenty of food and drink options available. Parking has improved since I was last there and there is an increasing amount of electric vehicle charging available.
Nice big shopping centre. Plenty of shops, easy to spend the whole day there. Some areas are emptier due to shops closing down, but you'll definitely find what you need there.
Very busy at the weekend! However, there is ample free parking. There is the usual range of retailers including a large Zara and Primark. There is a huge choice of dining options and a cinema.
Bear in mind, the parking now is owened privately, so keep an eye on the small print. It can change any moment, and the fine of £60 is already mentioned. Otherwise a good place to shop... Unfortunately large department stores tend to wither. But in the vast space you can find a lot places to shop.
Great place to visit for all your shopping needs. Plenty of places to eat and drink and for the kids to enjoy themselves too with climbing walls, little trains to take you and them from A to B which is entertaining for them. Generally a lovely few hours for yourself just to chill out relax and shop
This big shopping centre is simply incredible, combining four malls into one handy location. Each mall is labelled with the colours yellow, red, green, and blue. There are numerous restaurants and shops to choose from. You'll need at least 4-5 hours to thoroughly enjoy everything this mall has to of
Had a great few hours shopping here. It has certainly changed since I was here in 1990 when there was lots of greenery and a small stream. Although it is now decorated in a more modern and minimalistic style, it was still nice to walk around. There were different coloured zones which matched the d
