I haven't been to this fish n chip shop for quite a while but judging by the reviews it hasn't changed much. It was always the best fish n chip shop for many miles. Friends of mine used to travel miles to buy at this shop. The fish is always fresh and the batter is exceptional.
Why does every takeaway that sells kebabs pizza and or curry think that it's easy to make our national dish fish and chips? It's not and they can't! Most fish n chips from takeaways are awful. The Little Chip however is a rare exception the fish and chips are actually quite good, there are better

Best fish in Gateshead. Lovely owners. Always ask after the family. One older guy needs customer service training. He never ever smiles and hardly ever looks you in the eye and never says "thank you, come again".

I can only say that they definitely have the best fish and chips in this area. Fish tastes really fresh and the chips perfect and crunchy. I would recommend this chip shop 100%. Spot on
