Double stack burger,bacon,smoked apple wood cheese,and Chipotle sauce,skin on Fries and crispy onion garnish,has to be the best tasting burger I've ever had,nice place to eat,really friendly staff and great atmosphere,would highly recommend this place to eat and drink,also really good affordable prices.

Proper authentic family pub, with a lovely heated outdoor seating area. Had just a few starters to snack on and a cheeky tequila. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious and very well presented

First time, loved it, great food, I had the chicken gyros, superb, delicious! We were served by the lovely Lesley who kept us well watered, all staff super friendly and chatty. My only gripe if anything was the pint price over 5 quid is expensive for North East. We sat at a table by the bar which was nice as easy access to the drink! Lol some seating outside very comfortable. Will be coming back as soon as the wallet is topped is again. 👍😊 Thank you.
Spent my Sunday afternoon at the vic yesterday there was a lovely young lady called grace who served our dinners. She was very helpful and had good recommendations on the desserts. The food was amazing too!!
1st time visit here with my husband we had the Sunday lunch and it didn't disappoint the lamb dinner I had was amazing lamb was lovely and tender homemade roasties were lush. My husband had the chicken dinner and he was impressed ple ty of veg to go with it. Deserts were lovely mine was salted caramel cheesecake with cream while my husband had sticky toffee pudding with ice cream both were amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
Michelle was an absolute star of a server! She made the whole experience 10x better. We enjoyed burgers, pizza, the rotisserie and a lovely creme brûlée, all of which were delicious. Highly recommend!
Have been here a few times over the last couple of years when visiting family, tonight being the latest.

I went today and it was one of the best restaurants I have went to, Vanessa and her daughter looked after me and my family and as an 11 year old child they were so kind. Truly something to be proud of as the restaurant owner you have got yourself a great bunch of staff, and I have a account on tik tok which I filmed a video for my account and it’s an account about food reviews and stuff they even gave me some ice cream with some concept sauce for me to try truly a great restaurant my tik tok is jld_takeaways great drinks to very friendly staff would 100% recommend for you to go

Just had tea tonight. Absolutely beautiful. Starters were loaded skins and onion rings. Main was wagu burger and tacos. And the best dessert ever was salted caramel cheesecake and amaretto ice cream. First class service as usual. Well done The Vic x

they are dog friendly and everyone gave the dog plenty of attention while inside
food was great, had Tacos and there was plenty of filling inside to fill us up

Visited for the first time on Saturday.
First of all the food was gorgeous. I had the belly pork which was beautiful.
The staff are friendly and welcoming.
The music is good.
I've knocked a point off for a couple of reasons most of which are easy fixes.
The laches on the women's toilets don't stay shut. One of the girls had to put a sanitary bin in front of the door to try and keep it shut.
I closed and locked the door to a different cubicle, did my business and when I looked up the door had unlatched when someone walked into the adjoining stall and closed the door. That was pretty embarrassing as someone could have seen me. Management please fix this because it's only a matter of time until more people will raise this since it's a pretty serious concern.
Some of the drinks we got had the wrong ingridients, not a massive deal but both myself and my friend left our drinks half drank because they didn't really taste nice. Limoncello spritz are usually made with lemonade, the ones we got were with soda water. Again not the biggest issue and it might be a mistake due to the staff being overwhelmed at the time since it was busy but maybe if it's really busy allow for an extra member of staff on those days.
The pub is very pretty but quite cramped which makes it hard to move around and might be an issue if evacuation is every needed. Might be worth moving some of the chairs around just to allow for more freedom of movement.
Overall I would probably come back but not on a Saturday when it's so busy.
Regular for pizza etc but first Sunday lunch here wow absolutely blown away portion size and tasted delicious. I had half chicken other half had beef totally delicious

We have had Sunday lunch here 3 times in the last month.
Service is very good, friendly and attentive.
Food is average price at £13.95 for Sunday lunch. The food is nicely cooked, it came quickly and there is a decent choice. It's table service.
They serve mushy peas with Sunday lunch which I find odd but it goes down well.
The only minor thing that I'd say is that the amount of vegetables that are served separately aren't enough per person but this is easily rectified as more will be given at no extra charge.
All in all I'd very much recommend this place. That's why we keep going back.
