Slim Chickens Gateshead

Called for dinner this evening, it was the first time I’d been. Matt was very helpful and helped with my order. I was really hungry so had 7 chicken tenders, perfect fries, Texas toast (lovely, a bit like garlic bread), 2 dips and a Fanta. Well priced super tasty chicken I was very impressed! I will be calling back with my daughter next time!

I came here yesterday for the first time. Firstly I want to compliment the friendly service that we received by your server Nick. He was happy to explain the menu and all the questions we had. Portions are generous and filling. Two of us struggled to eat 7 fillets with fries. Food came out really hot and it was delicious. Milkshakes are pricey but they are worth it. The seasoning on the chicken could have been better, but it’s a lot fresher than other similar establishments. The sauce made up for the lack of seasoning on the chicken, so overall I really enjoyed my meal. Definitely better than KFC. The only downsides were that the screens to order were turned off, however we did get there just as they opened so that’s understandable.

Fancied a quick bite before the cinema on my birthday. Best Chicken tenders I’ve ever eaten and everyone who knows me, knows I’ve eaten a few in my time 😁. Superb service from Lee and the team. Delicious, freshly prepared and generous portions. Excellent value for money. Best restaurant of its type in the Metrocentre and beyond. 😍

First time trying this joint and the atmosphere was relaxing, the seats were comfortable and they had a TV playing sports which was entertaining, the food was delicious, the chips were nice and crispy along with the chicken sandwich which had a nice texture and feel to it. I liked the herbs within the meal, it added a new twist to food and finally the staff member Kayleigh who served us was delightful and kind and could not have asked for a better waiter. It also had an inside area and mini outside area which was great to sit at, especially in this warm weather as of late. This is definitely somewhere I would recommend to a friend if they wanted to grab a quick bite to eat while in the Metrocentre. 10/10

Samantha served us and she was brilliant. The food was great and all the staff were friendly. We tried the fried onions for the first time and they were odd, but in a good unique way. I can’t explain them but they are 100% worth trying them if only to understand what I’m talking about. Again all the staff we came in cant at with were so friendly. Would recommend.
