Lovely local pub , lovely seating areas . Nice ales and if you want something other than generic chain pub the griffin is the place to be .

Popped in for one drink before going for a meal ..ended up having three then went back after the meal ..lovely pub ,friendly staff and a nice atmosphere..Def call back and sit outside plenty of seating and a real sun spot .... last but not least the pubs handsome Sam gorgeous little fur baby 💕

Superb service from start to finish. Room was so clean and you had absolutely everything you would need. Loved the magnifying make up mirror and the soap/shower gel smelt wonderful. Smothered Steak was so tender and beers were cheap. Breakfast was a full English and was yummy. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. 🙂

Is old fashioned which I liked vey much the land lady is very lovely woman staff seem cool and prices was very good to so I loved it 4 stars was just a bit too loude for me as it's only small and can get busy so you end up shouting what drinky do you want with hand sign lol but on a slow night is so lovely so I enjoyed it very much so 😊

Way cheaper than the last time I went, maybe because it's now a craft union bar. Standard selection of beers. Good mix of ages
