The carvery food was really good - the meat was not overcooked and the cauliflower sauce was just right. The service was faultless and helpful.

A place which never lets us down. Food is delicious, really well priced, nice inside and outside, great staff. Good parking and just all around a lovely place to have a meal.

As ever we had a wonderful meal. We’ve been coming here for several years and the standard has never dropped. The service is always good and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Crown for a good night out.

First visit and certainly not the last! (21/03/23) Lovely carvery with a great selection of vegetables in comfortable, clean, rustic surroundings. Young, but excellent team, lead by a super manager who made us feel welcome and could not do enough for us. If I had to add criticism, and it is a tiny thing, but, the printed menus were looking rather dogeared, which was not in keeping with the rest of the surroundings. All in all, a relaxing evening which was much needed. Thank you all!!

Carvery was lovely and reasonably priced and enjoyed the blackberry and apple crumble for dessert. Children's meals were also good. was very busy pub and restaurant, booking recommended. Staff were obviously very busy but other than waiting for a few minutes when we arrived to be seated they were attentive and friendly

Amazing yummy food. The portion of chips are huge, they come in aronther bowl. This was the chicken and mushroom dish under the grill section of the menu.

Enjoyed a carvery for 4. Decent quality and a nice Sunday to follow.

Every meal is amazing my personal favourite is chilli chicken, can’t get enough the chips, they’re are so soft and delicate, coleslaw is lovely and light. Every meal I have tried so far is amazing! best food in Leicestershire- River and Allyson.

Had an absolutely amazing meal here tonight. 5* service from our lovely waitress Drew. What a star!! A wonderful asset to the Crown Team. Food was delicious, hot & huge portions! Great menu with a fantastic selection of choices. Whole heartedly recommend a visit ❤️😋

This is our favourite place for a country pub meal. The best though is the carvery... Top quality food and generous portions. Excellent service and good variety of drinks.

Spent Friday night there. Could not fault anything. Some of the best staff I have had the pleasure of being served by. Huge selection on the menu and the prices are reasonable. A big WELL DONE all round. 👿

First time I've visited since it reopened after lockdown. There was plenty of space between the tables and we managed to dine despite not booking and nearing the end of service. Understandably they are offering a limited menu but I was a little disappointed as the majority of the meals were served with chips and there wasn't a seasonal vegetable option. However the food was lovely, the steaks were cooked to perfection and the portions sizes weren't overwhelming. The refurbished toilets are very clean and modern and the newly enclosed outdoor space is a great use of space. I'm looking forward to future visits and seeing the refurbishment in progress.. I highly recommend this pub.

Went for Sunday carvery, for the mother in law's birthday, party of 7. Lovely place great location. Food was amazing, good price, friendly atmosphere. The staff were excellent. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

Sunday carvery very good ,staff friendly and good service but found it quite dark despite an older building the lighting could be brighter unless you sat near the window

I went in off the street, had a table for me and had the Carvery. It was amazing!. The staff were happy and helpful with nothing being a bother. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Give it a try, you might like it.

A fabulous meal in relaxed and welcoming surroundings. The chicken, ham and leek pie was outstanding, lovely fresh vegetables and new potatoes in copious amounts. Don't know how we managed three courses!! Would highly recommend �

Haven’t been here for years, but food and service was great but the sharing dessert was disappointing, mainly made up if ice cream and crest very little brownie

Went to the crown for Mother's Day! Table for 5... we all had the carvery, and I must say it was delicious , the food was hot, the staff very helpful...it's a few years since I have been, but I will be going again very soon.

Fabulous meal again, portions big so don't have lunch, but absolutely delicious. Our compliments to the chef, and all staff working.
