Fabulous food and tea. Staff are delightful and customer service is perfect. Had vegetable lasagna and spearmint tea... full to the brim and ready to walk the wall!!

We stopped here on our way to our hotel for a coffee as it was dog friendly. We ordered blueberry scones which I have never had before. The scones were lovely and freshly baked. We also got lashings of jam and cream to have with them.
Certainly worth a visit, made to feel very welcome.

An absolute treat to visit. Great coffee, excellent cakes and food. And the 2 ladies who run it are so nice. Just down the road from Birdoswald (and much nicer coffee too)
What a find! Yesterday I visited Gladje in the scypen organic cafe and had a (belated brithday) afternoon tea, it was amazing! Definitely recommend visiting this very special cafe!
