Got lovely fish & chips from here late Sept 23. Busy place when ordering at the takeaway fish bar - you had to be on the ball and know your order (the local boys surely did) ! You did feel as if you hesitated for a second you were going to get scowled at 😬😅. Interesting & worth a visit for good food & the potential for looking stupid.

For a modest chippy, this place takes some beating! The gaffa & his staff are so warm, smiley & lovely! All our ‘southerner’ questions they were happy to accommodate. We decided upon a fish supper & a haggis supper too (since we had to try the local delicacies 😉). Freshly cooked & delicious, I would highly recommend 👍🏼💚☺️

What a lovely little chippy by the harbour! No frills but service was excellent, really friendly girls who went out of their way to help.
Had a small fish tea which was just perfect and when I saw the size of the large, I knew I'd never have managed!!
Food was fresh and tasted great and really reasonable prices. Would definitely return next time I'm up!

One of the best fish and chips I've ever had. The fish were nice and soft, don't even need a knife to cut it. The batter was so lovely I could've eaten it on its own. 10/10 would come again.

Called in at lunch time, steps up to door and one of party in wheelchair, not too much of an issue as portable ramp brought out by staff so could get through the door. Food good simple and old fashioned, chose pie and chips. pie was full of meat with chip shop chips, sandwiches made fresh to order. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Will be back next year when in Girvan again.

This spot is great for lunch if you are visiting the beautiful coastal town of Girvan. Perfect location, close to the seaside and the GirvanHarbour.
I was there with my son. He had fish supper, and I had smoked fish.
The waitress was lovely, so hardworking. Our meal was freshly cooked and piping hot. We enjoyed our lovely lunch and the beautiful view. We highly recommend this business to anyone driving through Girvan. It is worth stopping by. You will be very happy there.
