The Wood Restaurant

This is a convenient place to dine if you're staying at the Cottonwood Inn. They have a pretty spacious dining room and separate bar area. The menu covers all of the bases: seafood, steaks, breakfast, dinner plates, wings,.. whatever you're in the mood for. You'll definitely get your money's worth because portions are generous, and dinner entrees come with unlimited soups or salads. On the down side, the food is pretty mediocre. Nothing really has flavor, so you'll have to rely heavily on condiments, salt, and pepper to get a decent meal. I don't know if Glasgow has much better to offer, so I wouldn't deter you from giving The Wood a try.

According to my ticket employee 11 was my server I won't mention her name. So I ordered a western omelette no ham add jalapenos with a side of bacon no potatoes no bread. So I get my order and start to eat this omelette and noticed it tasted funny kinda like it was cooked on a propane grill and noticed it had no meat in it. So i picked apart the whole thing and noticed all it had was vegetables and they tasted like propane and no jalapenos either. So she finally comes over and I say to #11 I think they forgot to put the meat in my omelette and that I ordered the western omelette. She told me that the western omelette only comes with ham and that I ordered the wrong thing. So I thought I had made a mistake and left it at that. Then a couple hours went by and I realized that an omelette with only ham is a Denver omelette. So I just looked at the menu and the western omelette has 3 meats which one was ham. So in closing this review I figured out I wasn't losing my mind and that #11 either doesn't know the menu or made a mistake and didn't want to admit it. I ate the bacon which was good but couldn't eat but a couple of bites of the omelette because of the propane taste. So almost $15 for four slices of bacon a couple bites of omelette and coffee.
