Lychee Oriental - Glasgow - Photo album

Loved the dimly lit atmosphere and the vibes. Perfect for date night/family night/friends gathering. Patient, friendly servers. Free prawn crackers for munching. Palette was missing a certain spice, which I was looking forward to in a Chinese restaurant. Though they were authentic dishes and consis
Very good Chinese food! Interesting choices on the menu. We got the sweet & sour, and the honey chilli chicken! Really enjoyed these. Only thing knocking it off is the price, it is an expensive Chinese (and rightly so with its great quality!) but such small portion sizes. One bowl of rice & one bowl
One of the best Chinese restaurants in Glasgow. Excellent theming alongside good food and unique cocktails. Service could have been a bit quicker but worth it for the food. Has a good mix of your stereotypical "British Chinese" food as well as some fancier dishes. Good value as paid around £70 total
Excellent, tasty food, beautifully presented. Intimate, classy decor.
A Chinese restaurant with a great menu. Lots of choice. It is nicely decorated with a Chinese theme. Staff are friendly and helpful with menu items. Good cocktails too! Not the cheapest place but worth a visit for a treat or special occasion.
Food A1, Service A1, plenty of food for what you pay, atmosphere personally felt a little strange (let me try and explain). The staff members, when finished doing what they were doing, (eg: taking a drink to a table) would then go and stand alone in a dark corner with covid masks on this did not aff
Had the lunch menu and it's one of the best ever. Would highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back 👌
We enjoyed everything about our dinner experience here. The food was excellent and the waitress wonderful and friendly. We had a cocktail, soup and appetizers to start, then two main entrees and two sides and ended with the banana fritter for dessert with tea. Thank you!
Lychee is such a lovely place and everytime myself and my partner go in they all always greet us happily, such an amazing atmosphere and the staff I can't fault as you walk in they are always consistent in making your time enjoyable and always a high standard service. The food is amazing. We are qui
Don't be fooled by the lane it's situated in. This is a lovely, mid-priced restaurant. It's pretty big and although I was part of a large party we were served promptly with everyone getting their food at the same time. Dark enough for date night but friendly enough for a family get together.
Been coming here for a long time and thought it's time to finally do a review. Went on a Saturday night and was very busy. Recommend you book a table especially on weekends. Food was excellent as always (Recommend the Thai Red curry). No complaints here. Service is brilliant and Staff are friendly
Lychee Oriental is a fantastic Chinese restaurant located in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. The restaurant is run by the award-winning celebrity chef Jimmy Lee and has won several awards, including the Best Oriental Restaurant 2019 in the Glasgow Awards and the Best Asian Restaurant in Scotland T
Was pretty busy when I first went in, but it could have been the time of day. Had to wait to ve seated. However, once at the table, the service was first class, as was the food. Couldn't really fault any of it.
Beautiful restaurant decor was lovely staff really nice food was delicious
Perhaps not the most authentic but the food is good, the staff are efficient and friendly and the atmosphere was cool. Mix of clientele and usually busy. A bit off the beaten track but well worth the visit. Duck sprung rolls and chicken gyoza not to be missed
We went here on a Monday night fairly busy so I would say your best to book. Food was fantastic, staff very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend
Lovely place Staff very attentive and was first class Highly recommend
Friday night. Had booked a table for 4 @ 7.00pm. first visit. I arrived 10 minutes early and was still shown to our table. They were very busy. Order a bottle of Prosecco which arrived in a few minutes. Order the share platter which was for 4 which was excellent. We had ordered our own main dish
Really lovely looking restaurant. The food looks amazing and the portion sizes are very generous. Quite a few tables had doggy bags. Staff were really nice and attentive. The only thing we didn't like was the seasoning. The ribs were overdone and only tasted of salt, the mixed seafood claypot was
