Friendly and quick service! We’ve had their large poutine a few times through delivery but this was our first time sitting in. Both burgers were fresh and tasty, and the fries were great too! The small poutine is a perfect side size and goes great with a burger. Forgot to take pics when they first came out but they looked great too.
We went in for a meal between our lectures. They have a student deal until the end of September month which is 50% off. The food was great specially with the prices that came to after the discount. The design is also quite cool.
I had a great time in that restaurant in which the atmosphere and the food were very great.
I had a vegan poutine and I was pretty much impressed by the huge amount of fries in the plate, it was great though, but a bit too much for just one person.
The only things I can criticise are the prices that are quite high and the absence of fries when taking a hamburger, as for me it should be essential...
On my visit to bread meats bread I got the bbq beef brisket toastie and my oh my it's hands down one of the best things I've ever tasted. If you're a meat lover then you have to try this! My mouth waters any time I think about it it was that good. Chock full of amazing pulled brisket and the bread is fried/toasted to perfection. If your not a massive eater you could even have this and a side between 2 for lunch and walk away satisfied. (Bread meats bread is the kind If place you usually roll away from). Staff are always really nice and friendly and there is seafing inside and outside. Hope this helps :)
Best burgers we’ve ever had! Great atmosphere and service. Quite pricey but great for a treat.
Meaty and delicious. Amazing fries. Possibly the best fries I’ve ever had. Wolf burger balanced beautifully the pulled pork, bacon and patty. Highly recommend, would go again.
One of my favorite places for eating out in Glasgow. The food is so tasty! I'm glad they brought the honey sweet potatos fries. The portions have become smaller though probably because of the rising costs 😔 I made an audacious request to replace chips with sweet potato fries in poutine and it was perfect 😋 (sorry if this offends any Canadians)
Super close by University of Glasgow. Weekdays lunch time is not as crowded to enjoy your fantastic meal. They've also got lunch deals, which I found quite reasonable and filling. Juicy burger and freshly made fries 🤌 so good!!!!!
So first off, the food is amazing. I had one of the grilled cheeses and it was delicious. The waiter made a snarky comment about me using a student discount but maybe he thought he was being funny? Anyway, other than that the service was very quick.
I'd recommend as the food was great - if you're a student make sure you go on monday as you can get 50% off!
Always good service and excellent quality food served quickly. Menu has stabalised across branches as they have grown and added new branches so gone are the unique to branch burgers but the menu has something for most and they seem very flexible with amendments to suit. Thoroughly recommended.
Pulled beef was delicious. However, the beef patty was a disaster. I wish it wouldn't have been in the burger. It was dry and overcooked. The burger was lack of sauce and other ingredients that would make it signature. Although, the fries were delicious.
Cheese and beef shouldn't go wrong. Leave the patty, or replace it, and maybe add some capers or horseradish. It's a one-off place, a bit shame from a specialised burger place. Until they don't spend time on their 'specials', you better off going to BrewDog for a burger.
A good place for a casual meal. Nothing special, but also nothing unpleasant. A good selection in the menu with the option of customising your choices, so always a plus. The staff seemed a bit tired and uninterested. The place lacks energy, which is a shame with such a good West End location.
I had the pastrami burger which was immense. Feel like the portions were bigger when I ordered a delivery previously and disappointed that they don't do tater tots any more 🥺
On the upside the staff were great craic and informative, can't criticise the service in any way...thank you!
The burger was ok, a little overcooked for my taste, and they left off the crispy fried onions that were supposed to be on it. Service was good.
We had lunch here when they opened at midday on a Tuesday. Few other keeners also there at open, but not very busy just yet. Photos of what we ordered also in review, opted for vegan and traditional poutine given our group’s eating preferences. Portion sizes on poutines were good, had to box up leftovers. Would 100% eat here again to try the other varieties!!
My wife studied in Glasgow and kept telling me about this restaurant. When she took me there, it was not only a restaurant that we were going to, it was confidence, trust. Could I still believe in her if the cheeseburger was not as good as she announced?
As with everything, she was right. One of the best cheeseburgers I have had. Make sure to drop by!
It seemed very quiet in terms of customers which is why I was surprised at the length of time it too to get the food on the table. I think it would be a really long wait at a peak/busy time. The food was really nice. I had the black and blue burger which was tasty and well cooked. The chips were described as "small" but to my mind that were a good and generous helping. The staff were very polite, helpful, prompt and friendly.
It didn't have an atmosphere to shout about. The table behind us was quite loud and combined with the background music (Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones) I found it difficult to converse. I spent some conversation time looking at the person at the next table and trying to identify if she really was Nicola Coughlin. Sadly because I couldn't hear I couldn't identify if she had an Irish accent or not. Nice lunch.
