Yiamas Greek Taverna

We had a reservation of 10 on Sunday at lunch, which was really well accommodated for and the service was perfect :) Our server was really friendly, helpful and precise with our order! I'm not sure what her name was, but we were served by a girl in a blue t-shirt, at around 1pm? The food was delicious, and I really like that we can watch how some food is made through a glass screen! The chips and tzatziki were definitely my favourite combo of the whole meal, but my halloumi pita wrap was also very delicious. Everyone else at the table also really enjoyed everything! I didn't hear a single complaint about anything nor have one myself :) I also ordered a freddo espresso which was perfect and super refreshing! The regular coffee tasted really nice, but I was surprised at the difference in taste between the regular and decaf versions. The regular one was very buttery and smooth, and the decaf one had earthy and bitter notes? We also brought our own cake which was really well accommodated for. Overall, great service and food! Amazing, fresh food, great portion sizes, very friendly and speedy service. Well priced too. Went there at about 18.00 on a Thursday after shopping in Glasgow, ordered the souvlaki (plates) and a Greek salad. We asked them to skip the chillies in the salad (some people noted that the food is spicy, so know that you can make these requests). Seriously, couldn't have asked for anything better. Hard recommend!

I absolutely love Greek food and culture and this is definitely the best in Glasgow. Looks small from the outside and didn’t think we would get seated but found out there is also an upstairs that was huge. Gyros amazing but would love to try something different next time I’m there. Girl working upstairs at around 5pm Sunday was lovely and very welcoming.
