Salt & Vinegar - Glasgow - Photo album

Table for two at 5.30. We parked in a nearby street with no parking restrictions. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived but got busy as the evening progressed. The surroundings were bright and airy with a nautical theme. We chose to sit in a booth and our waiters were attentive but not overbeari
This place is magnificent. The food is delicious (I had a sausage supper). Jumbo sausages were all very nice. The chips were lovely and a side of coleslaw was delicious. Would highly recommend.
Really nice relaxed vibe, it's a chippy with more...industrial chic decor and comfy booths. Staff were bearded delights, friendly and welcoming. Salt and vinegar was in pouches/sachets but allowed me to have hundreds of salt, so just the way I like and I guess a hangover from lockdown restrictions.
First time visiting and won't be the last. Lovely fish tea and great size portion.
Lovely cod supper from the lunch menu. Tartare sauce was excellent as well as the fish and chips quality.
Great dining experience at this place. Polite attentive staff. Haddock soft with crispy breaded batter although I had better in Blackpool. This was certainly some of the best I had in Glasgow. So much food only for £8.75 with black tea included. Black tea tasted pretty ordinary and low quality so on
Had the best fish and chip supper ever today, thanks, Salt and Vinegar. The take away food was delicious and the young man taking orders was so polite, efficient and welcoming and thank you!! Definitely going to come again.
Had fish and chips and a portion of fritters. It was tasty, and I really enjoyed it. Nice decor and friendly staff. If I have any moan, it would be it's only one piece of fish, but it was a decent size.
Visited on Tuesday with a friend for the lunch time deal and it delightful, the waiter and waitress were lovely very attentive, the food was just as good and the tea with the deal was a bonus. will definitely be back
Very nice food. Fresh and hot. Friendly atmosphere. Will visit again.
10 out of ten for their haddock and chips. Succulent, perfectly cooked, perfect size, perfect taste, not greasy, caught in Scotland. And the promotional price for lunch - £5.50 - is unbeatable. Chips were fat and crunchy, the way they should be. A special mention and big thank you to Keith who ser
Food was nice, first time a bit dry. Second time a lot better. Service friendly and fast. Place looks nice.
Really good fish and chips. Had it delivered TWICE in a week on Uber Eats it was so good. Proper fish and chips, and not too expensive. Would happily order again as my local chippy (Catch) is a dear hole.
I bought fish supper but asked for 2 fish,it was a bit expensive and thought this better be worth the money, didn’t disappoint, best fish I have ever tasted. The gravy is amazing too. Will definitely be going back.oh and they have a seating area if busy which means they cook as someone orders which mean
Finally get to dine-in here after ease of lockdown. The battered cod and chips lunch set comes with a pot of tea for only £6.45. The battered cod was seriously good. One of the best in Scotland. I came hungry and left happy. Highly recommended!
Really nice fish and chips. And takeout is reasonably priced. The big drawback is we didn't realise the sit in prices are waaaaay more expensive than takeout, we wouldn't have dined in had we realised.
What a great find. Fantastic food, great sit in service and take out looked efficient and friendly. Will definitely be back. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Yummy
