Ordered the haddock fish supper plus a side order of mushy peas to take out on a rainy evening. First of all the fish was very meaty but most importantly there was no oil residue on the take out box. Superb! The reason I've not given this a better rating is that the twice cooked chips were cold. I guess when the fish is hot but the chips not then you do have to question why? Still despite this small hiccup I would return again.

Similar to our experience in Catch West End, our visit to the Giffnock branch was wonderful. Excellent food and delicious food. The tempura prawn was amazing, and the battered chips, wow! It's no doubt my favourite fish and chips restaurant in Scotland.

The food was very good. I had Haddock and chips with mushy peas. My partner had lemon sole goujons. The fish was very well cooked, lovey, and cruspy batter. Staff were all very nice and the food came out nice and quick. Will definitely be back even if it's just to get a carryout

Navigating the crowded sea of fish and chips eateries, Catch in Giffnock boldly claims its stake, not just matching but exceeding its coastal counterparts in both quality and experience. This delightful restaurant gives a modern spin to a classic, bringing the seaside inland with style. True to its name, Catch ensures a captivating first impression with its maritime blue interiors, casting a modern, inviting glow. The ambiance is a contemporary nod to the sea, mixing the familiarity of traditional seaside charm with sleek, modern design elements that make you feel instantly at ease. As for the menu, it is a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. The fish and chips, of course, are the quintessential favorite, impeccably prepared to a golden, crunchy exterior with flaky, melt-in-your-mouth fish within. But it doesn't stop there. Catch stretches its culinary net wide, featuring a variety of delectable dishes that add a sprinkle of modernity to the beloved classics, offering patrons an exciting exploration of flavours beyond the expected. The Prawn tempura is a must! The staff at Catch deserve special praise. Their friendly demeanor and attentive service make each visit a pleasure, contributing significantly to the overall dining experience. They navigate the bustling restaurant with ease, ensuring every customer feels valued and attended to.

Nothing short of Excellent. Family fish dinner 2 kids ate the lot no fuss. Fish was top quality batter even better. We also opted for the squid and brocoli tempura starters all were delicious.

Sat inside to have food. Good sized portions to good food. Fish & chips were cooked to perfection. I tried the lobster which was also lovely. Great value for what you get. Would definitely go back again. Would highly recommend as a nice change to just going to the chippy

Went to Catch as Hook was closed. The portions were small, the price sky high, but the fish was nice. Prefer Hook for both quality, quantity and price.

The setting was amazing, plenty of seats on the outside, inside and upstairs. Upstairs was a lot warmer as kitchen was directly below, hopefully some fans could sort out that issue. Menu had plenty of sea food options and it is all freshly displayed in a cabinet as you enter the restaurant. It is a little be expensive but worth every penny for freshly sourced fish and they also use environmentally friendly products. Staff were also great and the atmosphere we couldn't fault. Keep up the great work and look forward to being back. P.S. Chicken was halal for anyone interested.

The fish gujons were melt in your mouth. The batter light and crispy. So delicious. The chicken had a grilled smokiness which was so yummy 😋 The sauce on it was amazing and of course the chips too. 🍟 couldn't fault anything. Chicken is halal 🥰
