Was here to hear Gasper Nail who is from Malawi with a group of friends great little venue, not sure what his instrument was, he was joined for some of the time by his manager on guitar

**Edit** Staff have changed over the past year and now they have a new menu. Good but overpriced for what it is. After learning how music acts are treated in this venue- £50 between a whole band and charged for having a merch table - Im less inclined.. Love this place! Really unique vegan asian tapas-style grub - be an adventurous eater when you come here and you won’t be disappointed!

EDITED** I went back last Friday for an exceptional meal with some fabulous margaritas and was well looked after. Really enjoyed the empanada cactus and jalapeño chz and the mushroom burrito. Seems like the previous time I was there they were still ironing out the new mexican themed menu. Anyway, looking forward to returning! Thank you Hug n Pint :-) Used to be an amazing menu which is why I went recently and was thoroughly disappointed with the food. The waitress, although nice was inexperienced so didn't explain the menu properly and left us sat for ages waiting to order, no drinks/water etc. I ordered what I thought was a decent amount of food (2x tacos and 2xmulitas) but it was so tiny for what the cost and we were starving so we ordered more (burrito). Waitress also forgot one of the items I ordered (deep fried corn). So had to order more. Then there was the issue with the tacos and mulitas. Me and partner love spicy food but we were not prepared for the utter fireball that we ate. He literally couldn't finish his and we were both gasping for water for about 20 mins (had ordered water but it never arrived so partner had to go to bar and fetch some). We told the waitress it must be a mistake in the kitchen as there's no way all the things we ordered were meant to be that spicy! But nothing was really done and we were still charged for it. So after eating that meagre meal, we waited for the burrito and no sign of it. I actually had to leave so asked for it to go and left, and my partner had to wait for it. We ordered it about 7.20pm and it ended up coming out at 8.15pm!! Absolutely ridiculous. Anyway I did eat it for lunch the next day and it was fairly decent and not laced with hot sauce thankfully. Overall, so utterly disappointed with it all considering how amazing it used to be. I won't be back for a while unfortunately...

Innovative, vegan, pan-Asian, small plates sharing menu. Not at all what the name suggests! Food was really tasty. Some of the dishes tasted quite similar but that was the choices that we made! The aubergine was my favourite (can’t recall the exact name of the dish) There is a bar and open seating area on the first level and an events area in the basement. Ambiance was quite hip and alternative.

Bloody marvellous. Staff super genuine and friendly. General decor and vibe of the place really fun and welcoming. Cracking little venue downstairs with a strong selection of local music, vitally reliant on small venues like this. Really nice selection of local beer and a small but bold menu of reasonably priced vegan Asian food. The tenderstem satay was excellently seasoned and thoroughly satisfying. Only tiny critique would be please swap in some paper menus instead of QR codes. But that’s just a personal thing. Will deffo be back. Give these people your money.

The highlight of my visit was to Glasgow! The food was delicious, the food was asian inspired and super authentic. The staff was very nice and helpful, the place itself was really cool and the music also super nice. Thank you for the amazing experience ✨💖

went here in 2018 & it was the first place I'd had sharing plates in glasgow. was absolutely heartbroken when I thought they'd closed for good; so happy to have them back. fab food, fab vibes, fab music if you happen to be there for a gig too. big hug.

Fantastic and super flavorful food. We went twice several weeks apart, and the menu had changed, but everything we got both times was superb. Glad they offered some zero-alcohol beer options, as well. We really appreciated that.

Great little pub. Was there for a gig and found all the staff were friendly and the sound was great in the live room downstairs. The only thing I could possibly criticise is the limited menu. It's great that it's vegan but I think it's just a little bit limited in its offerings

It used to be my favourite vegan restaurant, but now it has changed and it's not all vegan + food is totally different. It's tasty, but I think it somehow has lost its identity as a place.
