Pickled Ginger Finnieston - Glasgow - Photo album

If you like Japanese you'll love Pickled Ginger! Absolutely superb food, great sized portions, and definitely try the banana tempura for pudding - yum! Staff were super friendly and helpful, too. Can't ask for more. I'll definitely be going back whenever I'm in Glasgow (which might be more often n
really great service, food and atmosphere. the only point of improvement would perhaps be more cocktails? the bento box is definitely worth it too
Huge shout out to Pickled Ginger for hosting my birthday ‘party’ after a last minute let down by another venue. Myself and my partner have always had great times here and in hindsight should have booked here from the outset. We were welcomed in with open arms into a very cheery and warm environment.
Great food! We ordered Bento boxes. All of them were good. The place lacks drink options. Most drinks mentioned in the menu are unavailable. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The ambience is good too. Definitely recommend.
This place was wonderful, I really enjoyed the decor and authenticity of the place, the food wad delicious. I really enjoyed trying a bone-broth ramen for the first time! Loved the Malibu Barbie cocktail on special offer
We popped in here for a quick lunch on Sunday afternoon. The waiters were lovely, friendly and knowledgeable - he recommended an amazing chicken dish for me and it was so fresh and tasty. The maki and sushi rolls we ordered were also fresh and really nice. Will definitely return - thanks guys.
Came here for lunch and loved the sushi! I had a sushi platter, one special roll, and some green tea. Even though it’s far from the city centre it’s definitely worth the trip
Oh my goodness what an amazing find tucked away in Finnieston. Not a very big restaurant & as we were early I think we were lucky to get a table in all honesty. Very friendly staff who were welcoming & for whom nothing was a bother. My colleague ordered the Chicken Katsu and I had the Beef Bulgogi
We booked with Groupon and the deal was amazing. Im not sure I can believe the value for money. We used to tend to use restaurants like wagamama in town in the past but that feels like a McDonald's compared to pickled ginger.
Attractively presented food with a fair price tag. Sushi particularly well made. Very attentive waitress and quick service. Atmosphere was chilled with some edgy indie playlist for background music. Pictured are the takoyaki, pumpkin tomato, beef teriyaki and spicy salmon rolls.
Nice Japanese restaurant. I ordered the mixed sushi platter, the sushi were very delicious 👍 Friendly staffs and easy parking. highly recommend!
Delicious sushi. I recommend making reservations even though they were able to fit us in at the back counter as a drop-in, there was a free table the entire time we were there (why not just tell us how long we could stay?). The karaage was excellent but the pieces were double the size that I'm used
Just loved this place - will definitely be back!
Visited for lunch a few times, food always great and staff more than happy to help with menu items as not a fan of raw fish. Bento box great value and filling option for lunchtime
