Steak Cattle & Roll - Merchant Square

Have been here and their branch on sauchiehall street quite a few times and it never disappoints, the staff are friendly, quick and helpful, food and drinks are delivered to the table promptly and the food itself is really good. I particularly like "the whole hog" a genuine 2 foot long hot dog, kind of a 'man Vs food' challenge but it's delicious, have had various side dishes and burgers in the past as well and they are always top tier. Prices are very reasonable and the location of this branch inside of the merchant square is perfect, especially if you can be seated in the cobblestone area with the fairy lights overhead, perfect for date night or a pre-night out meal. Will definitely be continuing to visit👌

Had a lovely meal here with my partner & kids. Menu has a great selection to choose from and the food was fantastic - loaded chips are amazing and enough to be a meal in itself! Cocktail menu was great too, tried a Cooncil Juice, which was delicious! Great atmosphere & service too, will definitely be back 😊.

Went to steak cattle and roll for dinner and drinks and omg it was absolutely outstanding!!! The cocktail list is amazing and everything we ordered was very well presented and very tasty. The food was really good and the portion sizes were actually very big and very tasty I would definitely recommend this to anyone who hasn't been !!!

We had an excellent time here on an early Friday evening visit. It was busy but service was quick and attentive. The burger menu is vast with something for everyone. I had the classic burger with bacon and it was really good. They’ve got a good cocktail menu too (I had the Holy Water) and a decent selection of wine. Being a fan of independent beer my only small issue was the lack of choice on that front - with so many great, independent Scottish breweries I’m sure they could offer a wider range, but it’s small point.

Ooft. Normally not a fan of burger and chips but these are not your usual burger and chips! I had the towering Nacho Burger which I had to demolish to eat. The brisket on it was so tender. Our server recommended the steak topped chips which were fantastic. Perfectly cooked chips and tender steak. Not cheap - but worth every penny. Will be back.

Really good burger! We have been here several times and have tried pretty much every beef burger. The best for me is the nacho burger! Also the Canadian and the mac n cheese burgers are pretty good too. Every time we take the banoffe sundae, its amazing!! The Staff is really friendly and helpful! Atmosphere is nice, bit noisy because of the loud music of the bars around. Although, the last time we went there it was busy and the sweet potato fried weren't good and the pulled pork was so dry. The location is amazing, Merchant city square in the city centre. Give it a try!!
