The National Piping Centre in Glasgow is the perfect destination for anyone looking to learn more about traditional Scottish music. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 It's a must-visit for all music lovers, where you can explore the culture, history, and art of Scotland’s national instrument. You get the chance to be taught how to play them and then have a go yourself! The most interesting part of the tour for me was learning about how piping bands from all over the globe, fly into Scotland to perform at competition level! Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would 100% recommend visiting. I know we'll definitely be back!

We had our wedding here at the weekend and it couldn’t have been better. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, and everything went incredibly smoothly. Emily, our main contact for organisation, was a great help and always responsive to emails. The piper was excellent, the florist made the hall look absolutely beautiful, and the food was great. It all felt very down to earth and relaxed too, which was what we wanted. A big thank you to all involved!

Small but beautiful spot to visit. Cheap (more like a donation) to visit. Recommended to all piping enthusiasts.

We had our wedding here last week and can't thank the team enough for everything they did. I've never experienced such professionalism and nothing was too much bother. Even the numerous emails I was sending in the weeks and months leading up to the wedding! The staff never showed any stress and I would highly recommend getting married here. We can't wait to go back for a meal. The Piping Centre will always have a special wee place in my heart.

I loved finding out more about the history of bagpipes. And we were excited to get a little private concert as one of the employees was warming up before giving a tour!

Our wedding venue... where everything was done to perfection. Building provides a great backdrop with tasteful decor which is just Scottish enough. Love the historic black & white photos on the walls, the stained glass and the way the light shines into the blue room. The food was well presented and lovely just like in the bistro. The service great. The bar stocked with Scottish craft beers and gins impressed the guests. The organising, management of the day, accommodating the providers of cake, decor, entertainment - all done very professionally. The venue size created a great atmosphere for a party evening. Great location for guests travel and accommodation with lots of hotels in surrounding streets and travel hubs everywhere. Thanks to all who helped create a fantastic day.

This venue for wedding reception was such a delightful surprise. Fantastic place, it's like the tardis with something different around each corner lol! Piping centre/shop, full of history, great event spaces with private bar, lovely public restaurant & bar, great menu and accommodation. The rooms provide everything you need for a short stay and spotlessly clean. The staff were amazing, all so friendly, welcoming, helpful and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. A new found gem for us. BTW, if you have the privilege of eating breakfast, the Pipe Major's breakfast is recommended, was delicious, perfectly cooked and not to be missed.

I hire out the space at National Piping Centre each year for my organisations annual awards. I am always delighted with the service and experience hence why I have continued to hire with them since 2017.

It is a nice little exhibit. Particularly liked seeing bagpipes from other countries and learning about the history of their use in Scotland.

Excellent Glasgow city centre venue. My band, (The Jiggers Ceilidh Band) play here regularly for weddings and corporate events and it's got great acoustics and good food. Really good for a ceilidh. It's included in our blog post about the 100 top Scottish wedding venues.

This first visit was for a Christmas lunch with Oddfellows. The service was very good and staff friendly. My Christmas meal was good and the establishment very clean and tidy. Well done, definitely worth a second visit. Hotel accommodation also available but not taken on this visit.

Highly recommend a visit to the National Piping Centre on McPhanter Street!! The staff were extremely helpful, gave us some great advice on chanters and books. The museum is quite interesting too, look out for the old Polish pipes 😳 Our tutor Ross was absolutely fantastic. He is a renowned musician in his own right, but having his experience as a tutor at the Centre is wonderful! It made our trip to Scotland so memorable! Thank you 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🎵🎶🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙
