I had been dying to go here since our last Glasgow visit as it has a cool history. To be honest I was expecting a bit more of an oldy worldy feel but it was more like an enjoyable Weather spoons feel. Very clean, popular and sure the beers were great. Dog friendly so that was a bonus and you can catch the rugby on big feck off screens, but it just missed a stronger heartbeat. Definitely worth a pint in, should you be in the neighborhood.

Had a great experience here. Was trying to watch the rugby. They had a busy day as a Rangers game was on, but they changed one TV for me so I could watch the game. Great welcoming service and delicious food

Went in on a Saturday night and had a good time, the place has a very good selection of reasonably priced drinks, ales, beers, lagers, ciders, wines, gins and whiskey 🍻,very friendly customers and staff especially Michelle who is an absolute star, free WiFi and free function suite, I now go once or twice a week at least 👍

Regular here! Been coming into Tennents for 41 years, and can honestly say that Michelle is one of the best bartenders that the bar has ever had! Her banter, service is ten out of ten! Mitchell and Butlers are lucky to have her!

Great bar in the west end for a chilled drinks with mates, especially for watching sport with it always on.
Prices are reasonable and service is always grand. Especially Michelle who is always welcoming. Even if not serving you she makes the effort to say hi and have some chat. A real asset to the bar!!

We often frequent Tennents at the weekend. Quite frankly it's the only bar with some atmosphere on Byres Road. Sports on daily and the drinks prices are reasonable. Never really eat here but the food looks decent. You get served quickly and are always met with a warm welcome especially when Michelle is working. She always makes time to have a quick chat to regulars even though she's clearly run off her feet! Keep up all the hard work 😊

Me and some friends in for some food and drinks on tuesday. What a cracking boozer! Food for pub food was great and arrived quicker than expected. Staff were all superb especially Michelle! She looked after us the whole time we were in and even when busy looked after us unbelievably! Everyone she was serving was bouncing off her banter and having a great time! Nothing was to much for her! We would all like to say a big thank you to Michelle for really looking after us! We will be back!!

Michelle has been amazing the whole time I’ve been to Tennents bar. Super quick service, constant serving with a smile and persistent positive can do attitude. She is an asset to the pub and business as a whole!

Regular customer here so that says it all. Good place to come if you need cheered up or a laugh. All the staff are good but I have to give the nod to Michelle this week. Pint s getting poured before you ask - etc always entertaining - definitely a character.
