Lucali By Andiamo

Wish I could rate this place higher than 5 stars. The whole atmosphere of the place is gorgeous, mixing modern and retro style seamlessly. The booths were very comfortable for my bad back. The staff were so sweet and personable, and our waitress chatted away to us for ages about my upcoming wedding. I cannot overstate how good the menu is at this place, and they truly cater for everyone. I am vegan and they not only had clearly labelled options on the menu, and a separate vegan menu as well, but they had a wide range of options. The fries were some of the best I have ever eaten, and I would HIGHLY recommend the chickpea fritters with the marinara sauce. The vegan "chicken" panuozzo was so good that I instantly resolved to bring my partner back here ASAP so he can try it, despite not being local to the area. The bathrooms were clean and tidy, and the staff kept the surrounding tables clean and organised. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Absolutely brilliant find!

I have visited a few times before when this restaurant was Andiamos, so was keen to try when i came accross a voucher deal online. We visited for lunch and very much enjoyed our experience. Service was good. Food was excellent. We had starters of bruschetta, mushroom crostini and a plate of scallops to share. Mains, my partner had a steak and i had the seabass in a tomato caper sauce with a skewer of king prawns. All absolutely delicious. Can't fault anything. Portions were generous, my fish was really tasty, king prawns large and plump. Scallops were large and juicy. Toasted bread that came with scallops and my mushrooms were even delicious! Warm and soft with the right amount of toastiness, if that makes sense!! 😆 I have used voucher deals online before and noticed restaurants often cut back on portion sizes when dining with these offers. Lucali does not, so that was nice. I dont live near the area but will be definitely visiting again when i get the chance. Absolutely recommend this place.
